Lake view was beautiful, grounds were well-maintained. Fishing rods loaned for free with ID. Private beach and pool were great for kids. Convenience stores nearby. Golf course was better than expected.

We traveled by car and loved the beautiful lakes and grounds at this amazing Veterans Park. The festive Christmas employee party was a delight, complete with Santa and Mrs. Claus. The desert bar was a sweet treat. The staff was helpful and the entire facility was clean. The breakfast and dinner were awesome. We were also impressed by the quietness of the lodge during our stay. The golf course, especially Steve, exceeded our expectations. The view of the lake was stunning, and we enjoyed fishing with the free loaned rods. The private beach and pool were perfect for families. Convenient stores nearby.

I had an amazing time at Lake Blackshear Resort. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, and I was impressed with the overall cleanliness and value for the price. The lodge room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and had a stunning view of the lake. The staff at the restaurant were friendly, and the food was better than most chain options nearby. I also enjoyed the various activities offered, such as the pontoon boat ride, which was included in the all-inclusive package. I had a great experience at Lake Blackshear Resort and would definitely recommend it to others.

Lovely lakeside retreat, great for a relaxing getaway. The restaurant served delicious food at fair prices. The staff was friendly and attentive. The villa was clean and comfortable, with updated tile floors. The nearby POW national historic site was a fascinating visit. I highly recommend this vacation area.

The location of this resort is ideal, as it is close to everything we love. We enjoyed easy access to Cordele's restaurants and a state park. Additionally, the resort is conveniently located near a golf course where we spent our days. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished, with a screen porch that provided a peaceful view of the surrounding nature.

The pool and hot tub were in dire need of cleaning.

I had the pleasure of staying at Lake Blackshear Resort Golf Club for a few nights while traveling from Florida to Knoxville. The Christmas employee party was happening when we arrived, and it added such a festive atmosphere to our stay. We even got to indulge in the delicious desserts at their dessert bar. The location of the resort in the beautiful Veterans Park was breathtaking, with stunning lakes and grounds. I particularly enjoyed the view of the lake and the opportunity to go fishing with their complimentary fishing rods. The private beach and pool were also great for relaxation. The staff were friendly, and I had no issues with bringing my service dog. Whether you're with family or on a romantic getaway, this resort is a glorious find.

The food at the restaurant was not up to par. the breakfast options were particularly disappointing, with poorly prepared dishes and small portions.

This hotel is close to everything we love - the beautiful lake, the restaurant with fair prices, and the inviting lounge areas. The staff here is friendly and attentive, just like Ashley Hill, our awesome server at the Lakeside 88 Bar. The attention to detail in the restrooms and the clean, comfortable rooms with their cozy beds made our stay even better.

If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway in the middle of nature, this place might be a good option. the view from the room was breathtaking and the tranquility was palpable. the complementary wine and chocolates were a thoughtful touch.

That there was not much to do and it felt quite isolated. We had to drive everywhere and the nearest attractions and facilities were not within walking distance.
