During my recent transit stay at Loews Chicago Hotel, I was impressed by the spacious and contemporary rooms, offering stunning views of the Chicago skyline, river, or Lake Michigan. The convenient location, just a 6-minute walk from Tribune Tower and close to great shopping, made it effortless for me to explore the vibrant neighborhood of downtown Chicago.

The only minor inconvenience I encountered during my stay was the unexpected closure of the rooftop Terrace, which was reserved for a private party. This limited the available areas for relaxation and socializing, and I believe all guests should have been compensated for this inconveniences with a discounted rate for the night.

The hotel had a great location, close to Michigan Ave and the Navy Pier. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and pillows. The gym was well-equipped, with plenty of machines and even Peloton bikes. The staff was exceptional, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. It was comforting to come back to a clean and comfortable room after a long day of exploring.

There was a lack of information about the hotel amenities and the surrounding area in the room. It would have been helpful to have maps, restaurant recommendations, and general tips readily available.

I had an amazing time at this hotel near the river. It was within walking distance of all the major attractions, restaurants, and shops. The room was gorgeous and clean, with a large comfortable bed and a beautifully furnished bathroom. The service was extremely friendly, and the staff was responsive to any requests. The hotel had great facilities, like a pool and a gym. The view from the room was breathtaking, overlooking the lake in the distance.

That the breakfast options were limited.

The staff was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us, even printing tickets for our excursion. Plus, they recommended a fantastic breakfast spot called "Yolk" where we enjoyed dining twice.

Great value for money and attentive staff. Perfect location in the heart of the city. Rooms with 2 double beds and good lighting are fantastic, especially when they have a nice view. Affordable breakfast is a definite plus.
