I recently stayed at Mahana House for a week-long getaway on the Big Island. The inn exceeded my expectations in every way. The common area is beautifully decorated and spacious, with all the amenities you could ask for, including a fully stocked kitchen, barbecue, and laundry facilities. The room itself was top-notch, with a gorgeous view and all the essentials provided. I loved the thoughtful touches, like the daily supply of fresh fruits from the property. It truly felt like a home away from home.

I can't recommend Mahana House enough! For the price, we got incredible value and the room was spacious and clean. The location was perfect - secluded, yet easily accessible from Hilo. The staff, Randy and Alison, were amazing hosts, welcoming us with generosity and sharing their knowledge of the region. The peaceful and beautiful grounds made our stay truly memorable.

More breakfast choices would have been great, but overall, it was a fantastic stay.

We had the most amazing time at Mahana House. The property is nestled on a hill overlooking the ocean, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our room was spacious, clean, and had an adjustable firmness bed which was incredibly comfortable. The common room with books and games, as well as the full-sized kitchen, were great amenities. One of our favorite moments was enjoying a cup of coffee on the lanai while watching the sunrise. The friendly cats and fresh fruits from the orchard added to the uniqueness of our stay. Mahana House is truly exceptional and unforgettable.

The Ocean View Suite at Mahana House Country Inn was absolutely stunning, with a clean and spacious room, a small kitchen with a fridge, and a larger shared kitchen. The high standard of the bathroom and bed made for the best stay in Hawaii. The property's tranquility and the option to pick fresh seasonal fruits, like lychee, added to its charm. Definitely a must-visit for a peaceful countryside experience.

We spent a great Easter getaway at a cozy countryside inn. the staff was incredibly welcoming, providing us with fresh eggs and fruits every morning and leaving natural and vegan products that we loved. the peaceful surroundings and stunning views of the ocean in the distance helped us relax and disconnect. We had access to lovely gardens and fruit trees that added an extra charm to the whole experience.

One thing to keep in mind is that the inn is located far from any attractions and requires a car to get around. the communal spaces sometimes got a bit noisy, and while the patio offered privacy, we could still hear some of our neighbors.

We absolutely loved our stay at this amazing little place. The location was perfect for us, close to Akaka Falls and other attractions on the east side of the island. The peaceful and quiet atmosphere allowed us to rest and relax after a long day of driving around the island. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed that guaranteed a good night's sleep. We also appreciated the fresh fruits provided from the orchard on the property, such a delightful treat.
