I recently stayed at Mahana House for a week-long getaway on the Big Island. The inn exceeded my expectations in every way. The common area is beautifully decorated and spacious, with all the amenities you could ask for, including a fully stocked kitchen, barbecue, and laundry facilities. The room itself was top-notch, with a gorgeous view and all the essentials provided. I loved the thoughtful touches, like the daily supply of fresh fruits from the property. It truly felt like a home away from home.

I recently stayed at this wonderful country inn and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The location was perfect, just a short drive outside Hilo, allowing easy access to explore other parts of the island. The owner, Randy, was incredibly accommodating and provided us with excellent recommendations for our trip. The room was of high quality and had everything we needed, including a beautiful view. I loved that we could help ourselves to the fresh produce from the plantation every day. The common kitchen was well-equipped and it was a great way to meet other guests. I had an extraordinary experience at Mahana House and would highly recommend it.

We had the most amazing time at Mahana House. The property is nestled on a hill overlooking the ocean, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our room was spacious, clean, and had an adjustable firmness bed which was incredibly comfortable. The common room with books and games, as well as the full-sized kitchen, were great amenities. One of our favorite moments was enjoying a cup of coffee on the lanai while watching the sunrise. The friendly cats and fresh fruits from the orchard added to the uniqueness of our stay. Mahana House is truly exceptional and unforgettable.

The shared kitchen and common area were also a nice touch, giving us the option to cook our own meals and enjoy quality time together. The inn's location was ideal for exploring the east side of the island, including breathtaking waterfalls and the fascinating volcano. Our stay was truly memorable and we can't wait to return!

We loved the cleanliness of the hotel, with the room being comfortable and well-maintained. The hotel facilities were great, especially the shared kitchen and BBQ which we used for cooking our meals. The location on a hill overlooking the ocean and surrounded by a lovely garden was absolutely stunning. It was also conveniently located, allowing us to explore the entire east side of the island as well as visit the volcanoes national park. This made it the perfect place to rest after a long day of driving. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with fresh fruit and avocado every day and giving us great suggestions for our excursions.

During our Christmas stay, we were delighted by the beautiful views and serene atmosphere of the property. the hilltop location provided breathtaking glimpses of the ocean, adding to the overall charm. the spacious and clean room was a delight, and we especially loved the comfortable adjustable bed. Another highlight was the fresh fruits provided from the orchard on-site, which added a delicious touch to our breakfast.

There were a few downsides to our stay. the gravel driveway was quite challenging to navigate, especially when we arrived after dark.

The hotel also provided a dining table, patio, and garden furniture for our convenience. The soundproofed rooms ensured a quiet and restful night's sleep. We also appreciated the free toiletries, washing machine, and dryer available for use. The shared kitchen was fully equipped with cookware and kitchen utensils, making it easy for us to prepare our own meals. The flat-screen TV provided entertainment, while the dining picnic area and outdoor dining area allowed us to enjoy our meals in a beautiful setting. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that our needs were met throughout our stay. The hotel also offered facilities such as BBQ facilities and a garden area, making it a great place to relax and unwind. The free Wi-Fi and parking were a definite plus. this hotel provided enhanced comfort and quality services, and we highly recommend it.

We stayed at Mahana House for 5 nights and loved every minute of it. The beautifully maintained cottage was a perfect retreat. The drive through the macadamia nut tree orchard to get to our cottage added charm to our stay. The laundry facilities were great and having a full kitchen/dining/view area in the main building was an added bonus. The spacious studio and deck on our cottage were perfect for relaxation. The owner's pre-arrival email with directions and suggestions for things to do in the area was extremely helpful. The rooms were spacious, beautifully appointed, and comfortable, with cross ventilation and patios. The shared great room and kitchen were large and beautifully appointed as well. Fresh eggs and fruits were provided for breakfast along with every conceivable kind of kitchen equipment. The owner, Randy, went beyond the call of duty by mailing a forgotten tee-shirt back to us.

I would definitely recommend this hotel.
