We recently stayed at Salamander in DC for the Cherry Blossom Festival. The gentleman who helped us with the reservation and checked us in was amazing. He made us feel important and welcomed. Our two girls loved the panda bears and the adorable plush panda they received. The bell/valet team was very good and we were able to use the car a couple of times. The bathroom was huge with a great bathtub and excellent water pressure. The staff was helpful and kind at every encounter. The location was great for walking to the Tidal Basin and The Wharf.

My recent stay at the Salamander was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and ensure my comfort throughout my stay. The room itself was very comfortable, providing a spacious and relaxing atmosphere. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in providing a view of the Potomac River, which was a pleasant surprise considering my initial room had a less desirable view. The friendly and helpful staff promptly corrected the situation, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend the Salamander for its exceptional service and comfortable accommodations.

The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of delicious choices, and the room had a stunning view. The staff at the front desk and valet were very attentive and friendly. Plus, the hotel is located in a prime spot, with key attractions within walking distance.

One downside was that there were no self-serve ice machines. We had to wait quite a while for room service to bring us ice, which was inconvenient.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and the bed was top-notch. The bathroom was spacious and spotlessly clean. The hotel staff was friendly and professional, making me feel welcome during my stay. The location of the hotel was convenient, making it easy to explore the city. Additionally, the free coffee in the morning was a nice touch.

The prices at the hotel restaurant were quite high, which was a disappointment. I also found it frustrating that some of the amenities were not available or had to be purchased separately, such as the Wi-Fi and breakfast.

The hotel location was excellent, as it was within walking distance of all the museums and attractions in the area. Additionally, there was a leisure centre nearby, and it was relatively close to Capitol Hill. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious.

There were issues with the cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel, and some of the staff displayed a lack of professionalism and attention to detail.

As young holiday goers, we loved the indoor pool and the friendly staff at the hotel. The pool provided a great way to relax and have fun, especially after a long day of exploring. The staff was always attentive and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Recently stayed at a hotel in DC for a family trip. Salamander was hands down the best hotel we've ever experienced in the city. The rooms were stunning and had plenty of space for our family, with two connecting rooms and two bathrooms. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, and the bartender, Poco, was absolutely spectacular - juggling three cocktail shakers with drinks! The location was great, with easy walking distance to the Wharf Area and its amazing restaurants. Plus, they offered a free electric shuttle!

Can definitely recommend this hotel.

The fitness center at Salamander Washington Dc is exceptional and has the same equipment as my gym back home. I was able to maintain my routine while traveling. The lap pool is another great feature, allowing me to swim laps instead of having to settle for a quick dip. I had a fantastic stay at the hotel.

The concierge services were fantastic, and the front desk staff were always happy to assist us with any inquiries. Additionally, having a CVS nearby was convenient for any last-minute snack needs.

We recently stayed at this hotel and were impressed by the luxurious amenities, especially the spa and wellness center. The massage and body scrub were truly rejuvenating, and the staff were attentive and professional. The indoor swimming pools and sauna added an extra touch of relaxation. The sun terrace overlooking the beautiful garden area was a great place to unwind and soak up some sun. The restaurant had a great selection of dishes and the in-room breakfast was delivered on time, hot and fresh. The room was very spacious with exquisite decor and comfortable bedding. The Special diet menus were available which was a nice addition.

The only small issue we encountered was that the pool with a view was a bit overcrowded, so we had to wait for a sun lounger by the heated swimming pool. Additionally, the spa lounge was rather small which made it a bit challenging to unwind and relax before and after treatments.
