We had an incredible stay at this boutique hotel located ideally near the French Quarter. The small and stylish hotel had a beautiful swimming pool and a nice veranda in front of our room facing the courtyard. The minimalistic furniture in the rooms was very well selected, and the housestaff was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the complimentary afternoon cheese, crackers, and wine, which we could enjoy on the veranda or by the pool. The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They provided excellent suggestions on places to eat and things to see, and even informed us about areas to avoid. We were allowed to leave our bags after checkout and hang out on the grounds until it was time for us to leave for the airport. The hotel's location in the French Quarter was perfect, as it was close enough to walk to many places but also provided a quiet corner away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This hotel is in a great location, close to all the places you want to go. There are plenty of options for food in the Marigny neighborhood. You can also find the best places for music, like "The Spotted Cat," which offers a true roots experience in a non-smoking environment. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are charming with huge beds and nice furnishings.

The bathroom could have been more convenient. The lack of counter space and the difficulty of getting in and out of the spa tub/shower with the glass door were not ideal.

the location is absolutely perfect. Situated on a quiet corner just on the edge of the French Quarter, it provided a wonderful neighborhood experience while still being within walking distance of all the action. The value for money was excellent, especially considering the breakfast included. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Additionally, the rooms were well-equipped with basic amenities and the shared balcony offered a nice space to relax with the front windows open. I couldn't have asked for more!

The room was elegant, clean, and everything "worked" - the climate control and shower were good. The staff was very nice and attentive. The pool and patio area were gorgeous and perfect for cooling off on a hot day. The character of the house was charming, and the afternoon wine served was a nice touch.

What a charming place! The mansion has a beautiful traditional style and the rooms are spacious and cozy. We loved the shared outdoor patio space with stairs leading to the inviting pool. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the French Quarter. Despite the minor drawbacks of a simple breakfast and limited bathroom light, our stay at Melrose Mansion Suites was very pleasant. The staff, although sometimes less friendly, were still helpful. We enjoyed the clean and comfortable rooms, and the gym facilities were a nice bonus. I would highly recommend this hotel for a delightful stay.

Nice complementary wine and cheese offered every evening, and a pool that was well taken care of. Great location near all the famous attractions which made it easy to explore. One more benefit is the quiet neighborhood that allowed us to escape the city unrest.

The breakfast options didn't meet our expectations; they needed to replace the bowl of fruit regularly and the croissants were stale.

My room was in a separate wooden cottage, providing peace and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the room itself was pleasant and cozy. The free and fast WiFi was a great bonus. I also enjoyed taking a refreshing dip in the swimming pool in the evenings. it was a very pleasant place to stay in NOLA.

Although the breakfast was somewhat limited in quality, it was similar to what you would have at a motel on the highway.

I had an amazing stay at a hotel in this city! The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The hotel facilities were great, with high ceilings and wood floors giving it a real New Orleans feel. The staff provided Southern hospitality and even left complimentary water bottles and pralines by the bedside. The location was perfect, close enough to the action but far enough from the noise at night. It was within walking distance to The Ruby Slipper, an amazing breakfast restaurant, and The Orange Couch, a wonderful coffee shop in the Marigny neighborhood. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and made sure I had everything I needed, including finding me a different room when the AC didn't work on arrival. Every day, they even provided wine and cheese as an added touch!
