We had an incredible stay at this hidden gem! The staff were friendly and joined us for meals, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The nightly wine and cheese hour was a highlight, as well as the trivia night. The location is beautiful, with clean rooms and delicious food. The sack lunch for hiking and the opportunity to canoe on the lake were both appreciated. This place far exceeded our expectations!

Surprisingly good food and drink included in the nightly cost. Options like shrimp scampi, lasagna, roasted vegetables, and fresh berry mix for dinner. Hospitable and helpful manager with extensive experience in National Park lodges. Popular among returning guests. Excellent location between two parks.

the vintage family camp vibe and cozy accommodations made it a truly memorable experience. the buffet-style dinner was delicious, with options for vegetarians like me. the campfire smores-making activity was a warm and fun way to end the evening. the lodge had a big screen in the common area, perfect for relaxing and watching movies. the Wi-Fi was also better than what we've experienced at other lodges in the national parks. it was a very welcoming and relaxing retreat.

Wonderful family-oriented resort, comfortable beds, wood-burning stove, great hikes, tons of activities, beautiful lake, inclusive meals with plenty of options, thoughtful staff.

My recent stay at the lodge was a wonderful experience. The location was perfect for exploring nearby Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks, and the access to secluded hiking trails was incredible. The full meal plan was a great convenience, with hearty breakfast and dinner buffets. I particularly enjoyed the veggie egg scramble on Monday morning. The wine and cheese happy hour was a nice bonus as well.

One drawback was that the rooms were in need of updating and the pillows were quite hard. However, I didn't spend much time in the room as the lodge offered plenty of activities and common areas to relax in.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we had a memorable experience. The included food was a pleasant surprise, and there were so many activities to keep us entertained. We were sad to leave and can't wait to return for a longer stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at a lodge nestled perfectly between Kings Canyon and a Sequoia National Park. The location was fantastic, offering breathtaking views and a serene landscape. The small lake inside the resort was a hidden gem. The rooms were comfortable, although they could use some modernization. The dinner at the hotel was delicious, especially the dessert. The breakfast was good, and they even offered the option to make sandwiches for lunch. The after-dinner activities for the kids were a pleasant surprise. Despite being a bit pricey, the location itself justifies the extra cost.

We had an amazing time at this lodge! The stunning scenery and close proximity to the sequoia groves were perfect for exploring. The lodge-style accommodation was unique and interesting, and the comfy KING size bed and pillow made for a great night's sleep. The included buffet breakfast and dinner in the dining hall created a fantastic communal vibe, and the staff were helpful and friendly. We wished we had more time to take advantage of the planned activities and other facilities.

Loved spending my days skiing, playing tennis, making arts and crafts, and enjoying the free breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet. So convenient to have grab bars near toilets, because who doesn't need a little assistance with that?

Who needs a TV in their room anyway? And the noise at night was just a delightful lullaby that kept me up both nights.

This place is amazing for families - kid & adult friendly, with beautiful property and friendly staff. The activities include archery, smores at night, canoeing/kayaking, and walking. There was even a local band that played one night. The food was also great - delicious dinner options like roasted pork or coconut curry shrimp, fresh salads, and blueberry cream puffs for dessert. Breakfast had made-to-order eggs or omelets, bacon, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, and bread. The lodge room we stayed in was pleasant and cozy. a fantastic experience!
