The Monterey Bay Lodge provided a comfortable stay with clean rooms and comfortable beds. The king suite with a full kitchenette and a sofa bed in the living room was spacious and well-equipped, offering a convenient and relaxing environment. The microwave, small fridge, coffee maker, and iron added to the convenience, making the room feel like a home away from home.

The WiFi was shockingly bad and didn't work at all during my stay. As a traveler relying on digital maps for navigation, the inability to access WiFi in the room was a significant inconvenience.

loved being able to walk to fisherman's wharf in a few minutes! room was cozy with a fireplace. Clean, but layout could be better. Would go back! 💕

Comfortable Beds and Great Sleep Quality: The beds were so comfortable, it was like sleeping on a fluffy cloud! I felt like I was wrapped in a cocoon of coziness. It was almost impossible to get out of bed in the morning.

Our room had lovely amenities. The courtyard with gas fire pits was a delightful touch. Conveniently close to attractions. Would return for the location and friendly service.

During my transit in Monterey, I found the location of Monterey Bay Lodge to be very convenient, as it is only 5 km away from the Monterey Peninsula. The garden courtyard surrounding the pool and hot tub provided a lovely, relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day of travel.

The thin walls and noise from the street made for a less than ideal environment for rest.

clean rooms - great location just across the street from the park and beach for walking - short drive to Cannery Row and the Aquarium, and 15min from Carmel. also, very friendly staff who tried to accommodate an early check-in, and the heated pool was amazing!

We stayed at Monterey Bay Lodge for 3 nights and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the Pacific and the coastal path, with beautiful views of the swimming pool, lake, and coast from the balcony walkway. The room was spacious and bright, with a comfortable bed, a sitting area, and a view of the pool. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and we even received vouchers for a delicious breakfast at the adjacent cantina. We especially want to thank Susan and Ed for their exceptional service. We would definitely stay here again.

My recent stay at this hotel was a delightful experience. the room we stayed in was spacious and clean, providing a cozy retreat after a busy day exploring Monterey. the location of the hotel is fantastic, just a stone's throw away from the beach and a short walk from the town center. the amenities such as the swimming pool, sun loungers, and garden area were well-maintained and provided a perfect spot for relaxation.

While our overall experience was positive, there were a couple of things that could be improved. the toilet paper provided in the bathroom was quite thin, and guests were only given a limited amount.

Venture for acai bowls at Aloha Coffee and Cafe, a mere hop away. Sink your teeth into sushi tales at Yama Sushi Bar. Loulou's Griddle In the Middle serves comfort on a plate 1 km away. The pool and hot tub are instant mood lifters.

Playful banter turns to disappointment with David's checkout comedy show. Despite the hiccup, the room, bed, and amenities were crisp as Monterey sea air.

This hotel is an ideal vacation spot with a perfect location. With the beach across the street, the lake opposite the park to the front, and the pier along the walk, it's sure to please every beach-goer. Plus, the rooms have all amenities, and there's a fireplace outside to enjoy.

The hotel's inner courtyard was beautifully decorated with cozy seating areas and charming gas fire pits, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for relaxation. The tranquil ambiance and wheelchair accessibility throughout the property made it easy for me to navigate and enjoy the surrounding small lake and park. It was a delightful experience to be able to move around the hotel freely and safely.

I would have appreciated more assistance from the staff for senior guests to ensure a better vacation experience.
