Our stay at Moonshadow was absolutely perfect! We were in Hammondsport for a wine tour and stayed at this beautiful B&B for 3 nights. The loft room was clean, spacious, and the king bed was incredibly comfortable. The gourmet breakfasts were delicious, and we loved the special treatment for the little ones. The amenities, like the outside fire pit and game room with a pool table, added to the overall experience. Janette and Steven were amazing hosts and made us feel right at home. The location was also ideal, close to wineries and restaurants.

We got great value for our money with a spacious and clean room, comfortable king bed, and a delicious gourmet breakfast. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby wineries and restaurants. The staff, Steven and Jeanette, were amazing hosts and made us feel right at home with their warm welcome and helpful tips.

The morning meal could have been improved with a larger variety of options.

Our group had a fantastic stay at Moonshadow. Janette and Steven were amazing hosts, organizing a wine tour and providing a cozy fire pit for us to enjoy. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the breakfasts were outstanding. The location was perfect, close to wineries and restaurants, with a beautiful view of the lake.

Attending a concert at the Point of the Bluff's concert venue, we chose Moonshadow for its proximity, but it exceeded our expectations. The property is stunning, with comfortable rooms and common areas. The breakfasts were outstanding, made with local ingredients and touches from their own garden. Jeanette and Steven's hospitality and knowledge of local attractions were exceptional, and their winery tour is highly recommended. The option to order pizzas, salads, and sweets in the evening was a nice touch.

Almost perfect.

We had an amazing time at Moonshadow for our peaceful getaway. The room was beautifully appointed with a modern bathroom and a stunning view of the lake. The house and grounds were lovely, especially the front porch where we could relax. The breakfasts were delicious and the hosts, Jeanette and Steve, were warm and welcoming. They gave us fantastic recommendations for wineries and shops we had never heard of before. we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return.

Additionally, the location of this hotel was not ideal. It was quite far from the main attractions and the nearest public transportation was a considerable distance away. This made it inconvenient and costly to get around and explore the area. these factors greatly affected our experience and we would not recommend staying at this hotel.

The first negative aspect about this hotel is the lack of cleanliness. the room was not properly cleaned, with dust and dirt visible on surfaces.

Janette and Steven were amazing hosts, making us feel at home and welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a cozy atmosphere for our family. We enjoyed the amenities, such as the fire pit and the use of grills, which allowed us to have a relaxing and enjoyable evening. The breakfasts were outstanding, with delicious and creative dishes made from local products and items from the hosts' own garden. The wine tour organized by Janette and Steven was a highlight of our stay, providing us with a fun and informative experience.

The location of the B&B is convenient, just off the lake itself. Guests can easily walk up to the lake and enjoy the beautiful views. The B&B is also situated in the Finger Lakes area, providing easy access to the region's attractions. Additionally, the rooms offer great views of the lake, allowing guests to enjoy the scenery during their stay.

The B&B lacks certain modern amenities that some guests may expect.
