We were pleasantly surprised by the recent renovations made to this family motel. the rooms were small but well-equipped with amenities like a TV, fridge, microwave, electric water kettle, and toiletries. the owners were also kind enough to offer us fresh fruit in the morning. We loved the fact that pets were welcomed, and the parking was convenient. Each cabin had its own terrace where we could relax and enjoy the mountain view.

There were a few downsides to our stay. the hotel's proximity to the highway meant that we could hear a lot of traffic noise, although it did subside at night.

Best aspects of the hotel: I had a warm welcome from the hosts and they made my stay feel cozy. The motel was very attractive. They even gave me a dog-friendly room with a small outdoor space for my pup. The complimentary breakfast was a great addition and I enjoyed it every morning.

Worst aspects of the hotel: Not one thing.

The owners were friendly and provided excellent recommendations for hikes in the area, even with some trailheads still closed due to recent snowfall. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

The size of the cabin we stayed in was quite small and cramped, especially with two beds. It was also difficult to find outlets near the nightstand for charging electronics.

The cabins at this husband and wife-owned facility may appear dated from the outside, but don't be fooled! Inside, they are modern, clean, and beautifully decorated. The owners also provide an excellent breakfast, cooked personally by them. The table setting was a nice surprise. They are avid hikers themselves and offer services to hikers on the Pacific Crest Trail. Highly recommended for a unique experience and engaging conversations about hiking.
