I really liked the stunning views from the room and the delicious food at the hotel restaurant. the room itself was beautiful, with a large bathroom and all the necessary amenities. Additionally, the staff were friendly and provided excellent service.

I was disappointed to find that the towels in the room were old and had frayed edges. Also, the temperature in some areas of the lodge was not warm enough, making it uncomfortable to sit and relax.

The value we got for our money was excellent, with spacious and newly redecorated rooms that provided a comfortable stay. The location was perfect for visiting Volcan Poas and La Paz Waterfall gardens, surrounded by beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, assisting us with transfers and providing great service throughout our stay.

Hotel breakfast could be improved by providing larger portions and automatically refilling empty baskets, as well as ensuring that plates are cleared promptly.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel nestled in the cloud forest of Costa Rica. The location, surrounded by nature and near the Poas Volcano, was absolutely stunning. The clean and comfortable rooms were beautifully decorated with attention to detail. The staff was friendly, especially Daniel at the front desk and Javier the waiter. The breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant were delicious, featuring locally-made cheese, butter, and jams. We also enjoyed the peaceful walking trails and the well-maintained garden.

Our Christmas stay at this lodge was absolutely perfect. the staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. They even stayed open late to accommodate our late arrival. the rooms were beautiful and cozy, with unexpected touches like hot water bottles in our beds at night. the surrounding mountains provided a stunning backdrop, and the trails on the property allowed us to explore the beautiful scenery. the restaurant served delicious food, with a fantastic view of the local town and the volcano. We also enjoyed the library and game room, which provided entertainment and relaxation.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the hills, offering a unique and peaceful experience. The attention to detail and service provided by the staff is outstanding. The rooms are sparkling clean, very spacious, and have beautiful views of the garden. The breakfast, made with local ingredients, is simply the best I have ever had in Costa Rica.

My partner and I recently stayed at the beautiful Poas Volcano Lodge for a night. Our purpose was to explore the highland area and visit the Poas volcano and La Paz waterfall area, and we couldn't have asked for a better base. The lodge's architecture and decor were a unique blend of Frank Lloyd Wright, Hobbit house, and English cottage styles. The multiple sitting areas with wood-burning stoves added a cozy touch, and the staff was warm and accommodating. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and our room offered stunning views of a private garden. The lodge's location also made it convenient for reaching San Jose and the International Airport.

The hotel is tucked high in the hills near the Poas Volcano, making it a perfect spot to spend the last night of our trip, just an hour from the airport. The attention to detail at this hotel is evident from the moment you step in, with rooms that have a fireplace which was a wonderful way to end the day. The staff, with their friendly and helpful attitude, made our stay even more enjoyable.

We had a cozy two-night stay at a charming mountain lodge. The log burners in the lounge and restaurant added to the rustic ambiance. The rooms, though simple, had a nice feel to them. Each day, we were treated to fresh local strawberries. The lodge arranged a great trip to La Paz waterfall gardens, and the guide showed us a more affordable gift shop. The food was delicious, and it was refreshing to experience a different side of Costa Rica.
