Now, a cheeky note, the Spanish-speaking TV was a puzzle they couldn't crack, and we were in the old wing with no elevator—definitely a trek to the 8th floor for ice!

Our experience was marred by some unexpected inconveniences. We felt misled by the $25/day fee for beach amenities, thinking it was included in our room price. Additionally, the beach was mostly closed due to a protected seal, which was disappointing as we were looking forward to easy access to the sandy shores.

shocking that the carpets are not replaced in many areas of the hotel, quite tacky for such a luxury destination. the food was absolutely horrid, also very overpriced, with not enough choices for picky eaters like me. I guess I should've expected a better welcome gift as a guest. I just couldn't bring myself to give more than a 5-star rating.

It’s just not acceptable that I wasn’t offered a welcome gift or some sort of compensation for the inconvenience of it all. I almost considered leaving a good review, but just couldn’t.

The beach access right out front was fantastic, making it easy to enjoy swimming. Our room was quite small, which was a bit disappointing. The cultural classes offered were enjoyable and added to the experience.

We had such an amazing stay! Quintin was the best at the front desk, super chill and helpful, really made us feel at home. The beach access was perfect, and we loved taking chairs down for sunbathing. Just watch out, the rooms are pretty cozy—might feel tight if you're used to more space. But for us, it was totally worth it!

Had an amazing stay with stunning views from my corner ocean view room and enjoyed delicious pancakes at the Hau Tree restaurant while soaking up the laid-back vibe. The beach access was fantastic, complete with comfortable loungers and handy umbrellas to relax under. Just a heads up, the hot water took a little longer to kick in, but it was worth it for the overall experience! 🌊

Charming Beach Vibes with a Local Flair

We enjoyed a wonderful 8-night stay in the Park Wing, soaking in fantastic views over the serene Kaimana Beach. The Hau Tree Restaurant offered an unforgettable sunset dining experience. A lovely touch were the fresh flowers on our pillows each night!

It was just an ideal choice for taking strolls in Honolulu with best value. The shower over the small bath tub was good, allowing room to move around comfortably. If parking is a concern, consider street parking instead of the pricey valet service.
