The Nicollet Island Inn is simply stunning! I adored the quaint charm of the Standard King Room with just one physical key that made it feel uniquely vintage. Plus, the nearby Aster Café is a delightful spot for breakfast before a day of exploring.

Staying at the Nicollet Island Inn was a delightful experience! The historic character of the inn set a cozy ambiance, especially with those huge shuttered windows overlooking the river. I loved enjoying a peaceful morning walk along the river after a restful night in a comfortable Queen Room.

The inn lacks essential amenities, such as in-room coffee makers and an ice machine. The absence of food and beverage options during off hours is a real downside, especially if you're caught out and about without provisions. The rooms themselves are showing significant wear, with stained furniture and noise issues, like a toilet that leaked incessantly. Additionally, there are no blackout curtains, resulting in lights from the parking lot spilling in at night.

The place has a cozy atmosphere that reflects its historic charm, complete with antique furniture. I really enjoyed the scenic river views, especially while strolling along the water.

However, I ran into a few issues. My room had a parking lot view instead of the desired garden view, and there was only one partial roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. The continental breakfast fell short—coffee was almost out with no creamer available. The decor could use some sprucing up as I noticed a chipped glass on one of the table tops. Additionally, the shower light flickered and sometimes wouldn’t turn on, making for a frustrating experience at times.

The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and I loved the cozy atmosphere! The location is perfect for walks and easy access to local attractions. 🥰

Breakfast options were limited, and the air conditioning in my room could use a bit of attention.

stayin at the nicollet island inn was such a nice experience! the old-school charm really took me back in time and i loved the antique furniture. plus, the views of the river are super pretty, especially when you enjoy a morning walk by the water. the staff was super nice and attentive—they really seemed to love what they do! and oh u gotta check out the restaurant, it's like a hidden gem with great food.

the only thing is my room was a bit noisy from the bar area, especially when it was busy, and no in-room coffee makers was kinda a bummer.
