We had a great stay at Oak Mar Motel during our recent visit to Western, MD. Andrew, the owner, was extremely nice and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The rooms were very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient, with several stores and restaurants within walking distance. The on-site restaurant, 3rd St Diner, offered delicious home-style meals at a great price.

I had a very nice stay at a conveniently located motel. My room, Room 31, was clean and recently remodeled. I loved the double shower in the bathroom. The diner-style restaurant attached to the motel served delicious meals, freshly prepared and of good quality. The staff was friendly and knew the locals by name. I had a pleasant stay and would definitely return to the Towne Restaurant and Motel.

The front desk personnel treated us like we were family coming for a visit. the room was sufficient in size and extremely clean. Loved the smell of the sheets, like they had just been dried on the clothes line. the bathroom was newly renovated. There is also Free WiFi, which is always a bonus. Overall it was a wonderful experience and just in case you are hungry when you arrive, you will be pleasantly surprised that there is a restaurant inside the hotel that has excellent homemade food. Locals fill the dining room which speaks volumes. Awesome place to stay and I am looking forward to staying there again in the near future.

During our stay over Christmas, we were pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff who made us feel welcome. the room was clean and had a mini fridge and microwave, which were very convenient. Additionally, the hotel's location near essential facilities like drug stores and gas stations made it easy for us to stock up and take care of any last-minute needs.

One aspect that was disappointing was the lack of a clear policy regarding pets. Another downside was the absence of an automated ice machine, although the hotel did provide a portable cooler with ice.

During our Christmas stay, we really enjoyed the convenience of having a fridge and microwave in our room. There were a couple of things that we didn't particularly like during our stay. the diner attached to the hotel was a disappointment.

The staff at the diner next door were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was convenient, with a 24-hour gas station nearby for any late-night needs. It was also a short drive to our destination, which was perfect for our Christmas plans.

The first-floor doors to the outside seemed flimsy and lacked peepholes, which made us feel a bit unsafe. Additionally, the strong smell of cleaning products in the room was overwhelming at times.

The room was clean and had a decent TV and refrigerator. The heater kept the room warm. The location of the motel is close to state parks and Deep Creek Lake. The diner was convenient and breakfast was good and reasonably priced.
