The kitchen in the room was well-appointed and stocked, which was a great option to have. The complimentary Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. The breakfast options were good, although I wish the weekend hours were extended a bit. The location of the hotel was very convenient, only about 10 minutes away from downtown Newport. I loved that it was close enough to enjoy all that Newport has to offer, but without the parking hassles. I had a wonderful stay at Residence Inn and would definitely recommend it.

The only drawbacks were that the rooms didn't have a view, but they had plenty of natural light with two large windows. Additionally, the pull-out couch in the room wasn't very comfortable for my 17-year-old daughter, but she managed to sleep on it.
