Location was great, close to shopping and restaurants. Room was spacious and well-maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I absolutely loved the dual bedroom suite for our family trip. It provided the perfect amount of space for our energetic 3-year-old. The hotel facilities were fantastic, with a beautiful pool that we enjoyed. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff, especially Sarah at the front desk and Susie at breakfast, were incredibly helpful and friendly. The location of this hotel was in a great area, with shopping and restaurants nearby.

The location in this newer area of Des Moines was perfect for my job. Plus, the breakfast was amazing, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The breakfast staff at Residence Inn were absolutely outstanding. Lucy and Johnny took such great care of me during my stay. They were friendly, attentive, and made me feel like family. Their exceptional service alone is reason enough for me to return to this hotel. I highly recommend Residence Inn for their incredible staff and warm hospitality.

There was an issue with the fireplace in our room that needed maintenance attention.

The room was showing signs of age with moldy caulking and cracked tiles in the bathroom. The toilet was old and loud, and it backed up every time we flushed.

During Thanksgiving we stayed at a hotel and had a great experience. the hotel had a great location near shopping areas and popular restaurants. the lobby had a cozy vibe and we enjoyed the complementary coffee and tea. Another great complementary feature was the variety of ice cream treats to choose from. the staff were very friendly and attentive.

The sofa bed mattress was not the greatest and made some noise. the pool was unclean and needed some serious sprucing up.
