The hotel was meticulously clean and the bed was comfortable. the view from the room was stunning, overlooking the waterfront and the beautiful garden. the continental breakfast provided a good variety of options, including fresh fruit and pastries. the open pantry with snacks and drinks was a great convenience for a quick pick-me-up. the common area had a great selection of books and games for entertainment. the location was perfect, with easy access to the village's restaurants, shops, and attractions, making it convenient to explore the area.

During my recent stay, I was pleasantly surprised by the charm and character of the accommodations at this lovely inn. The historic details, such as the mural on the ceiling in the common room and the antiques throughout, added a touch of elegance and uniqueness. The location was also ideal, providing water views and a convenient walk to the town center. I especially enjoyed the peacefulness of the ample grounds, complete with a koi pond and a gazebo. The inn also provided bikes for guests to explore the area, which was a delightful bonus. The snacks and continental breakfast were delicious and convenient. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this inn for anyone seeking a charming and historic stay in the Outer Banks.

The beach chairs and bikes provided by the hotel were a great addition to our Christmas stay. We were able to explore the town at our own pace and enjoy the beach at our leisure. the location of the hotel was also key, as it was nestled in a quaint town away from the hustle and bustle of the popular Outer Banks area. the peaceful surroundings and beautiful views added to the overall experience.

The mattress and pillows in our room were firmer and flatter than what we're used to, which made it a bit uncomfortable to sleep. Additionally, the window unit air conditioner was quite loud, making it difficult for us to get a good night's rest - even with earplugs.

We had an excellent visit to this charming inn. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the boardwalk and downtown area. The room was comfortable and well-furnished, and the service was top-notch. We loved the peacefulness of the surroundings and the lovely view of the water. I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel and I couldn't be more pleased! the location is superb - situated on a quiet street along a small boardwalk with spectacular views of the water, it provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and treated me like family, going above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. Thirdly, the rooms on the second floor of the inn side were spacious and tastefully decorated, with a fabulous view from the attached open porch. Lastly, the breakfast served each morning was absolutely delicious and fueled me up for a day of exploring. I highly recommend this hotel for its value for money, attentive service, and idyllic waterfront location.
