This gem is right in the heart of the action! The pool area is so relaxing, and my room was quiet and spacious, just steps from the bustling nightlife. I can't get over how friendly the staff were and how comfy the bed felt after long days exploring!

Prime access to Bourbon Street and French Quarter attractions

Staying just steps away from the lively energy of Bourbon Street was an incredible experience as it made it easy to explore all the vibrant sights and sounds of the French Quarter like Jackson Square and the beautiful French Market both within a short walk of around 10 minutes and we were delighted to find great dining options right around the corner including famous restaurants like GW Fins and Acme Oyster House just a few steps away so no need to venture far for amazing seafood and the hotel's comfortable rooms with nice decor provided a cozy haven to retreat to amongst all the excitement but the hotel could certainly benefit from updating its furnishings and bedding for a more modern feel.

The facility is striking, the staff genuinely warm. The front desk team exudes hospitality. Ken from security deserves recognition as a standout. The bar staff? Funny and engaging, a true delight. Concierge Mr M was exceptional, curating unforgettable tours. there are significant issues. Miscommunication regarding payment methods left a sour taste. An unexpected fee and poor response to basic inquiries were alarming. A cockroach in my room? The noise was relentless, and the promised room comforts were lacking. For the price, the experience didn’t match expectations. With refinement, this hotel could elevate the guest experience to match its setting. Proceed with caution.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The room temperature control was not quite as cool as I’d prefer. I enjoyed the side street balcony, allowing me to see Bourbon Street while avoiding the noise. the lighting felt a bit dim, and the bathroom could have been cleaner. I experienced issues with the balcony door lock that went unresolved. Housekeeping could be improved; I noticed dust and hair from previous guests. Despite these shortcomings, the staff were generally friendly and accommodating.

Despite the noisy location on Bourbon Street, the staff at the Royal Sonesta were incredibly accommodating. Armani went above and beyond to find us a quiet courtyard room, allowing my daughter and me to rest peacefully. The elegant ambiance and proximity to attractions made our visit delightful!

Guests Play in – the top jazz spot in town, where New Orleans' best jazz artists perform live. The atmosphere oozes with the essence of NOLA's jazz culture. Their unique cocktails are a true gem for any music enthusiast.

My children wanted extended pool hours.

The location is perfect for Bourbon Street nightlife and nearby attractions. Had some issues with room cleanliness that were disappointing.

The room felt dated and worn out, with stained carpets and a noisy AC unit that rattled like it was about to break. For the price we paid, I expected way better conditions and a more comfortable stay.
