The hotel's location was ideal for day trips to San Diego, LA, Santa Monica, and Disneyland. With its close proximity to the beach and restaurants, it was perfect for exploring the local area. The rooms were bright and airy, offering a beautiful view and the soothing sound of the ocean. The staff provided excellent service and the basic amenities were well-maintained. The breakfast provided was also a nice bonus, giving us a good start to the day.

The location of this hotel couldn't be better - right across the street from the pier, with easy access to all the beach activities. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a partial ocean view. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure our stay was enjoyable.

The entrance to the hotel is a bit difficult to find, tucked away in a back alley.

We had a fantastic stay in a large, clean, and nicely furnished one-bedroom suite. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a partial ocean view. The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional, and the staff was helpful and considerate. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the pier and other important attractions. Transportation was convenient, and there was secure underground parking available.

Really enjoyed the complementary beach chairs and towels! The location was perfect, right across from the beach, with a secure parking garage. The fireplaces in the units created a cozy ambiance.

It would have been nice to have air conditioning as the rooms were a bit stuffy. The lack of phone service and poor WiFi was frustrating for staying connected.

I had a wonderful experience at Cove Resort. The location was everything I could have asked for, right across the street from the ocean. The views from my room were amazing, even though I couldn't see the ocean from every angle. The one bedroom unit was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate 4 to 6 people. I loved that the units were self-contained, allowing me to cook my own meals. The resort also had great amenities, such as a big barbecue area, a spa, and a hot tub. The owner's suite offered a variety of activities for everyone. The staff provided a warm welcome breakfast and gave helpful information about local activities. There was even a convenient shuttle service available. I had an awesome time at Cove Resort and would highly recommend it.

I recently stayed at a hotel in a prime location, directly across from the Pier. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a pull-down bed in the bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen. I especially loved the balcony, which offered partial ocean views. Additionally, the hotel provided all the necessary amenities for cooking, making it convenient for guests who wanted to prepare their own meals.

We had an amazing stay at Cove Resort! The staff went above and beyond to make my daughter's 18th birthday special. They surprised her with an ocean view balcony, flowers, and a birthday balloon in the room. The front desk staff, Tina and Sarah, were absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect, right across from the San Clemente Pier. It was great to have a reserved parking spot and be able to walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. I highly recommend this hotel!

The staff, especially Tina and Sarah at the front desk, were exceptional. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and well-maintained. They even surprised my daughter with a birthday balloon and flowers in the room. The hotel also offers underground secure parking and a stunning 3rd-floor owner's lounge with BBQ and tables.

The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic! It is right across from the beach and the pier, making it so convenient for beach lovers like myself. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped with a separate living area and a fully stocked kitchen, including all the dishes and utensils you'll need. I also loved that they provided beach toys, games, and movies for the kids to enjoy. Additionally, the staff was friendly and accommodating, allowing us to store our bags until we left.

While the overall property was updated and nice, there were a few areas that could use some attention. The bathtub could use some TLC and the shower curtain should be replaced.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The location is phenomenal, with beautiful ocean views and the sound of the waves right outside the "pier bowl." The beach, pier, and Fisherman Restaurant are just a street away. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The fully equipped units are perfect for cooking, though the 3rd floor "owner's lounge" offers stunning views and a BBQ area. The resort provides beach equipment, so no need to bring your own.
