The value we got for our money was excellent, considering our tight budget. The room was comfortable, clean, and had a kitchen which was a blessing for preparing our own meals. The location was great, just a block away from the beach, and there were plenty of breakfast places nearby. The staff at Shalimar Resort were pleasant and attentive, always making sure the pool and grills were clean and ready for use. The outdoor deck and grilling facilities were a nice touch, and we enjoyed relaxing there.

We had a wonderful time at Shalimar Resort. The location was perfect, just one block away from the beach, and we could even see the ocean from our balcony. During our Xmas stay, we really enjoyed the helpful and friendly staff, who went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. the cleanliness of the resort was exceptional, both inside and outside our room. We were impressed by how clean our bare feet remained, even on the balcony. Additionally, the two-bedroom townhouse we stayed in had clean and comfortable beds, which was important to us. the property's convenient location near the beach was also a big plus.

On the downside, our room was not cleaned during our entire three-night stay, which was disappointing. We also found the resort to be overcrowded, despite there being vacant rooms, and the facilities were smaller than advertised, making it uncomfortable for our party of six.

Best aspects of our romantic escape were the proximity to the beach and the variety of nearby restaurants. We loved being just a short walk away from the beautiful sandy shores and the convenience of having numerous dining options right at our doorstep. Additionally, the hotel offered a heated pool, which provided a relaxing and enjoyable way to unwind after a day of exploring.

In terms of the worst aspects, we were disappointed with the early check-out time of 10 am. It felt quite rushed and didn't allow for a leisurely morning before departing.

Comfortable, clean, efficient room with kitchen. Lovely seating area, ocean breeze. Reasonably comfortable beds, big deck with lounge chairs.

The staff was exceptional, always friendly and accommodating. The two desk agents, Dawn and Simone, went out of their way to make our trip special. The hotel/room was very clean with great amenities like a full-size fridge and two balconies with ocean views. The pool was heated and enjoyable. Customer service was a top priority, with helpful human interaction instead of automated systems.
