check-in was a disaster, staff seemed more interested in chatting than welcoming me. breakfast? four sad dishes, ran out of the only decent one before I arrived. and for the price I paid, I expected a complimentary upgrade or at least someone to attend to my discomfort. almost woudl have given a good review, but I just couldn’t.

Staying at the Springhill Suites felt like I was lounging in a well-appointed treehouse right by the river. Our first-floor suite was a marvel, fully equipped with two TVs (perfect for the Netflix binge! ), a microwave to heat up leftovers, and a mini-fridge for cold drinks. Plus, the breakfast buffet went until 10 am, so we could feast on all kinds of goodies like waffles and sausages before hitting the downtown sights! The staff was incredibly welcoming, making us feel like royalty throughout our stay.

Parking was tight.

Additionally, I found the bathrooms had some outdated fixtures that could use a refresh, and the air conditioning units were less than reliable, making things a bit uncomfortable. Overall, while the spacious suites were a plus, these hiccups did take away from the overall experience.
