We got great value for our money at Springmaid Mountain. The room was clean and comfortable, with a fully stocked kitchen. The location was perfect, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains with easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The staff treated us like family and made our stay enjoyable.

The room was spacious and had all the necessary amenities. I particularly loved seeing deer running around the property. If you're looking to escape the tourist areas and enjoy nature, I highly recommend staying at Springmaid again.

I recently stayed at Springmaid Mountain for a camping trip and it quickly became my favorite campground. The location at the end of a dead-end road gave me the true camping experience, and the breathtaking views were incredible. The flawless cabins, stocked ponds, and horse riding added to the amazing experience. The Wi-Fi service was surprisingly great, making it easy to stay connected. Despite being remote, grocery stores were only 10 minutes away, making it convenient. The peaceful and quiet atmosphere made it a perfect retreat. The staff at the office were super nice and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience.

The setting is beautiful, with breathtaking views overlooking a field of horses and the river. The horseback riding and fishing activities offered were a great value and the trail leaders were knowledgeable and friendly. The cabins were flawless, equipped with everything you need, and the peaceful and quiet atmosphere was just what I needed. this campground has become my new favorite and I highly recommend it.

Stayed in cabin 122 for hiking at Roan Highlands. Beautiful, secluded property just outside of town. Well-maintained cabin with nice gas stove and views of horse paddock. Great value for price, with facilities like stables, ponds, and hiking trails. Staff was friendly, and horses in the backyard were amazing. Quiet and private, would definitely stay again for a nature escape.
