Beautiful lake views, pet-friendly atmosphere, welcoming staff – a lovely retreat for families.

Sunset Beach Resort offers spacious cabins with great amenities like charcoal grills and docks for fishing. We enjoyed the clean environment and the attentive service from the staff, who were quick to assist us. However, the steep boat ramp was a bit tricky for our larger boat, and noise from the nearby bar could be a concern for light sleepers. Perfect for families and outdoor enthusiasts!

The location is fantastic, providing easy access to local dining at places like Backwater Jack's. The pool is well-kept and perfect for family fun. However, some cabins might need a little update and can have a musty odor. Overall, Sunset Beach is charming and great for outdoor activities.

The customer service was outstanding, with staff

who genuinely cared about our experience. The accommodations were spacious and clean, yet at times there was a bit of noise from neighboring areas. Still, the beautiful lake view made it worthwhile, and we'd love to return for another stay.

Absolutely loved the spacious grounds. plenty of dock space for fishing and boating! The staff was soooo accommodating. even turned on our lights before arrival! Location was perfect, right by the water and close to shops!

The noise from the nearby restaurant, with live music going until midnight, really detracted from the peace I was hoping for. The bathroom in my cabin was tiny and lacked electrical outlets, adding to the inconvenience. Overall, the 'beach' is just a small sandy area with a ladder to access the water instead of a proper slope.

the location is perfect, right across from backwater jack's with stunning views of the lake. the cabins are cozy and well-equipped for your stay. The outdoor dining area and swimming pool are great for relaxation!

We had a wonderful time at Sunset Beach Resort! The studio we stayed in had a lovely pool view, and we enjoyed having the pool mostly to ourselves, especially on warm days. The cabin was cozy, and it was great to have access to both the pool and the lake for swimming. The deer sightings near our cabin were an unexpected highlight! Plus, the location was just perfect for some local adventures.

We had a cozy stay in a studio with a pool view. It was perfect for just the two of us. The cabin had everything we needed, and the location was fantastic! Clean and well-kept. It had a nice view. But the air conditioning was a bit loud at night. The kitchen came in handy too for making our meals! Definitely recommend it for a chill getaway.
