The lodge-style design of Tailwater Lodge is stunning, blending rustic charm with modern luxuries. I loved the cozy living room spaces that felt so inviting for relaxing with family. Plus, the game room and outdoor hot tub were perfect ways to unwind after an exciting day by the river!

the lodge features a game room complete with foosball and board games. expensive meals could be a turn off.

Had an awesome time with friends! We enjoyed the trophy fly fishing right on the property and relaxed in the game room. The restaurant served great dinners but breakfast could use more options. Note that the pool area was busy with families during our visit, so plan accordingly. Definitely check out the outdoor hot tub—it was a highlight!

i was almost going to give a glowing review, but then i noticed there were no cups at the water dispensers in the gym—a total oversight for a place of this stature. the mattresses were so firm, i thought they were made of concrete! i also expected a complimentary gesture for my troubles—seems that’s too much to ask.

This lodge is simply magical! I adored the rustic modern design, especially the stunning open beams and wide plank floors. Waking up to the serene views of the Salmon River made my stay feel like a dreamy escape!

The Tailwater Lodge is a beautifully transformed space with modern touches that feel welcoming. The restaurant was a highlight, featuring diverse menu options, like an impressive blue cheese burger. However, the bar area had some cleanliness concerns, which slightly detracted from the experience. Still, the attentive staff made us feel valued during our visit.

A top selection for a trip in Altmar with great value for money. The game room was a hit with my son. he loved beating me in connect four! Try the outdoor fire pit in the evening for making s’mores.

Our stay was fantastic! The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the property was beautifully maintained. I highly recommend the restaurant—breakfast was amazing and a must-try. The spa with sauna and jacuzzi provided the perfect relaxation after a day by the river. Don't forget to book a massage!
