A fantastic stay! The hosts at Taylor House Inn, Tessa and Bernard, were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They made us feel right at home. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing - delicious and satisfying. The inn itself has a charming historical charm, built in 1911, with a beautiful front porch complete with a swing and rocking chairs. It's such a peaceful and tranquil place to relax. We also loved the little touches like the evening wine and cheese, and the fresh cookies at night. Tessa and Bernard went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The suite we stayed in had a gorgeous four-poster king bed, and we enjoyed sleeping with the windows open and feeling the cool mountain air. The original claw and ball tub added to the historical charm. We also appreciated the free WiFi and Roku TV for some entertainment. This was truly a romantic and memorable visit. Thank you, Tessa and Bernard, for an amazing time! I highly recommend Taylor House Inn for a wonderful getaway.

The location of the hotel was not very convenient and we had to travel quite a distance to get to the main attractions in the area. Additionally, the hotel lacked some modern amenities that would have made our stay more comfortable.

Additionally, the location was beautiful, surrounded by gorgeous scenery.

The cottage we stayed in felt damp and it was difficult to get comfortable. It was a bit disappointing considering the potential of the place.
