The Burgundy in New Orleans was a delightful stay. The host, Karl, was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The property is situated in a picturesque part of the city and within walking distance of the French Quarter. Free parking right in front of the house was a convenient bonus. Karl provided excellent breakfasts and offered great advice for exploring the city. a highly recommended place to stay.

The breakfast selection includes delicious options like scrambled eggs with tomatoes and onions, fresh fruits, juice, coffee, oatmeal. The hosts, including one named Frederico, provide excellent service and make guests feel at home. The location is convenient as it is only two blocks from the number 8 bus stop, allowing easy access to public transportation. Seniors can take advantage of discounted fares, including transportation to and from the airport. The neighborhood also offers two great restaurants, The Silk Road and The Franklin, as well as a fantastic dessert hotspot, the Peach Cobbler Factory. the highlight of the stay is the superb public transportation system, making it easy to explore the city and visit various attractions.

During our Christmas stay, we loved the warm welcome from the hosts and their adorable Chihuahua. the rooms were spotless and the breakfast was consistently delicious. the key location allowed for easy access to the river walk and nearby attractions. Plus, the host was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and gave excellent suggestions for things to do and places to eat.

One of the beds in our room was soft and uncomfortable. Additionally, the room we stayed in lacked natural light, which may be a drawback for some guests, although it didn't bother us as we were out most of the time.
