Great Location - but room a little small

I recently stayed at a charming hotel right in the heart of the action. The location was perfect, allowing me to step out the front door and be surrounded by all the excitement. There was even a private parking lot conveniently located behind the hotel. While the room was a bit compact, it had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The only drawback was that the bed felt a bit small for a queen, and the mattress was in need of an upgrade. Despite that, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed my time there and would definitely consider returning, hoping for more comfortable mattresses. I love the property and its location and would recommend it to others seeking a great experience.

Convenient location in historic area. Easy parking and Wi-fi available. Modest-sized rooms with necessary amenities. Beautiful grounds with multiple pools, spa, and fitness room. Would gladly return for a relaxing stay.

The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic. I could easily walk across the street and be in the closed streets walking area of Colonial Williamsburg, where I got to experience history at every step. The hotel's property was also beautiful, with three pools , a spa, and a fitness room that I wish I had more time to enjoy. Additionally, the hotel's location on the Main Street of Colonial Williamsburg allowed for a quiet and pleasant stay, while still being just a 10-minute walk away from all the restaurants and shops in Market Square. The free parking in a nearby lot was a convenient perk, and the friendly and helpful staff at the front desk made check-in a breeze.

The customer service at the hotel was outstanding on another occasion when the guest encountered an issue with their reservation. the staff went above and beyond to accommodate the guest's needs, finding alternative rooms at a separate property and ensuring proper credits and payments were processed. the customer service agent, Jan, was professional, efficient, and kind. the guest was impressed with the exceptional customer service received.

The cleanliness of the room was subpar, with urine on the bathroom floor and public hairs. the housekeeping staff's response was not satisfactory, as they sprayed a strong-smelling cleaner despite being informed about the guest's sensitivity to chemicals.

We had a wonderful stay at Colonial Houses - A Colonial in Williamsburg. The location was perfect, right in the middle of the Colonial Area. The colonial feel of the room was charming, and we loved having modern amenities like a refrigerator and TV. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Despite some noise from other guests, we would definitely stay here again.

Just stepping out of our front gate, we found ourselves in the heart of Colonial Williamsburg. The location couldn't have been more perfect. While the rooms didn't offer all the modern comforts like Wi-Fi, the absence of internet connectivity allowed us to truly disconnect and appreciate the authenticity of our surroundings. The staff at check-in were friendly and helpful, accommodating our late check-out request. The only drawback was the narrow and steep stairs, which required extra caution when carrying our luggage. Despite that, we would gladly stay at Colonial Houses again and highly recommend it for anyone seeking a bucket list-worthy historic experience. I'll recommend this hotel for those looking to immerse themselves in Williamsburg's colonial charm.

Spent Christmas at this beautiful historic hotel. Loved the cozy atmosphere and festive decorations that really put us in the holiday spirit. the location couldn't be better, just minutes away from all the major attractions. Also enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff who made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

As longer-term business travelers, we appreciated the well-equipped rooms with a keurig, iron, fridge, and blow dryer. The location was great, within walking distance of everything, and the tavern had a clean and quaint atmosphere. The check-in process was smooth and the staff were friendly.

This hotel offers a truly luxurious experience with exclusive amenities and impeccable service. the Spa & wellness centre and indoor swimming pool are perfect for relaxation, while the outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi provide a fun way to soak under the sun. the garden area is also a delightful spot to unwind. Our room was beautifully appointed with plush furnishings and private facilities that made us feel like royalty.

this hotel exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to return.
