Our stay at The George Washington was absolutely wonderful. We were upgraded to an executive king suite upon check-in and were delighted by the romantic fireplace, comfortable four-poster king bed, and spacious bathroom with great water pressure in the shower. The hotel has all the right amenities, including delicious restaurants and a luxurious spa pool. It provided excellent value for our money and allowed us to explore the area without breaking the bank. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful surprise in Winchester! The hotel's location was perfect for exploring Old Town. We enjoyed the lively pub with live music and a great selection of beers and wines. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were quiet. The breakfast menu had gluten-free and dairy-free options. The saltwater pool and hot tub were a fantastic addition to our mini vacation. Despite a few minor issues, we had a great stay. I highly recommend Wyndham Grand for a delightful experience in Winchester.

Everything is what I need and want.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of downtown! The staff are terrific and the rooms are cozy and comfortable, with perfect showers and two full-size beds. The hotel is located in the center of Old Winchester, which gives you easy access to plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance.

All was great, no complaints!

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the city. We were able to walk to all the main attractions and restaurants within minutes. Additionally, the room we stayed in was spacious and beautifully decorated, just like the photos showed. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we had a great night's sleep.

There were a few negative aspects to our stay. the cleanliness of the room was not up to standard.

The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holiday season, which added to the festive atmosphere. The staff was helpful and attentive, making sure all our needs were met. We enjoyed the live nightly entertainment, it was a great way to unwind. Additionally, the in-house restaurant had delicious food at reasonable prices.

the TV in our room didn't work, which was a letdown as we were looking forward to relaxing and watching a movie. Secondly, there were a couple of hairs on the sheet that were not ours, which made us feel grossed out.

The room was incredibly quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing the perfect balance of support and softness. The room service at the hotel was surprisingly affordable and the food was delicious. Additionally, the location of the hotel was ideal, with charming shops and great dining options just a block away. The staff, especially Maxine at the front desk, were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

We booked the biggest suite for a weekend treat. It was lovely, just like the photos provided. Despite -10°C outside, we were warm and cozy. The hot tub was great and the pool, although a bit cold, was still nice. The hotel staff were friendly and the indoor pool, although under renovation, was still usable. The bar area had a lively atmosphere in the evenings, which added to the charm of the beautiful hotel. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the bathroom was large with double sinks and a great shower. The hotel is well-maintained and close to the old town area.

Staying at a hotel in the center of Old Winchester was a great choice for us. We were able to walk to various restaurants and explore the downtown section of the city. The hotel facilities were fantastic, especially the hot tub area which was very relaxing. The staff provided excellent service, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the restaurant Sunday morning. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. it was a great experience!

There was an issue with the TV channels in our room which were only showing infomercials.

Well-maintained property, lovely and quiet room, friendly staff, comfortable beds, great location for historical sites and dining, parking available for a fee.

I recently stayed at The George Washington, a Wyndham Grand Hotel, in the historic district. It was a beautiful hotel with exceptional staff. They even allowed us to check in early. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was excellent, just a short walk from Rene walking mall. The room service breakfast was delicious and delivered quickly. The pool area was also nice and clean, perfect for relaxing.

The staff was amazing and very friendly. They went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, such as providing actual silverware and cloth napkins for our carryout. The valet parking attendant was also very kind and helpful. The hotel's location was great, as it was within walking distance to restaurants and historical sites. This made it very convenient for us to explore the area during our weekend stay.

One of the elevators was out of service, leading to long waits. The rooms could use some updating, as they had a bit of an 80's feel.
