The staff was incredibly polite and helpful. The room was impressively clean with modern amenities like a fridge, AC, and electric fireplace. The large restroom with dual sinks and a waterfall shower was a great touch. The hotel facilities were extraordinary, with a beautiful main lodge and a lovely terrace with mountain views. The breakfast offered a wide variety of cold options for different diets, including fresh and organic fruits. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town and close to great restaurants.

The temperature in the lodge was unexpectedly hot, which made it uncomfortable. It would have been nice if there was better air conditioning or ventilation to cool down the rooms.

Our room at Grand Idyllwild Lodge was clean, comfortable, and had a cozy fireplace. The soaking tub was a nice touch for relaxation after a long day of hiking. The innkeeper, Lily, was very helpful and accommodating, organizing our late check-in and even arranging massages for us. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the town center and great restaurants.

Additionally, the breakfast was a pleasant time with a great variety of options for all types of diets, including organic and extremely fresh fruit.

I had the most amazing experience at this magical little haven surrounded by gorgeous trees. The value for money was beyond wonderful and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, with a tranquil atmosphere and close proximity to town. The staff went the extra mile to accommodate our wants and needs, even helping us find a tire for our flat when we were driving up the mountain.

Hotel breakfast could have been better with more hot food options on all days.

Additionally, the continental breakfast provided a pleasant start to the day.

One concern I had with the room was the lack of privacy at the entrance. the sliding door entry to the room didn't offer much privacy, which was something I wasn't used to.
