The Islander Inn offers a fantastic beachfront location and clean accommodations. While the staff was attentive, the breakfast options were limited, lacking variety like eggs or bacon. The indoor pool and hot tub were enjoyable, but consider requesting a room away from noisy neighbors for a more restful stay.

The ocean view was spectacular and the staff was friendly and helpful with anything we needed I especially liked the comfortable bedding.

It was a bit pricey but worth it for the experience.

The room was clean and comfy with a microwave, mini fridge, and a sweet ocean view balcony. Loved the large TV and the easy elevator access. The hot tub and indoor pool were nice, even if the hot tub was a bit small. Breakfast had variety, but missed some staples. Location was perfect!

Perfectly located near the beach, this spot offers both indoor and outdoor pools, plus quick access to local shops and restaurants. Breakfast was great, and the views from the oceanfront balconies are stunning. the maintenance issues were a bummer—cracked tiles, a leaking ceiling, and wobbly furniture. Some staff interactions felt indifferent, even when reporting problems. The nonsmoking policy isn't enforced, which can be frustrating. Despite these hiccups, the relaxed atmosphere and proximity to the beach make it a worthwhile option, and I’d happily return next year.

Everything was flawless.

The Pearl Golf Links, featuring The Pearl East and The Pearl West, provided an exceptional golfing experience for my family. We marveled at the masterful design by Dan Maples, offering two stunning 18, hole courses. The location was ideal, surrounded by world, class Carolina golf courses, making it a perfect retreat for golf enthusiasts.

My kids wished for more family, friendly amenities like a dedicated children's play area.

The location is exceptional. A quiet beach with ample space to relax, truly a gem. The indoor and outdoor pools are great, and the Roku TVs offer modern entertainment. The continental breakfast provides variety, though fresh eggs or bacon would enhance it. my experience was marred by ongoing renovations. The elevator was distant from our top-floor room. Getting there felt like a workout. We discovered a sink issue on arrival, which was inconvenient. Walls are thin; the neighbor’s TV was a distraction. Staff was friendly, and the property was otherwise clean. I hope to return, but I need assurance that renovations are complete. Attention to detail needs improvement.

As a marathon runner, I appreciate the fitness facilities at The Islander Inn. The superb cleanliness of the rooms and helpful staff make it a favorite for my family. Although there were a few annoyances, the proximity to the beach and ample parking are big pluses. Hope to see improvements soon!

Staff was friendly and the oceanfront location is unbeatable. The elevator was out during our stay, making it tough for my mom with mobility issues.

Amazing beachfront access with plenty of attractions nearby

Staying right in front of the beach was such a joy, allowing for easy strolls to appreciate the beautiful ocean views and enjoy the warm sand just a few steps away, plus there are loads of great spots to eat and explore like Pelicans Perch, only a quick walk down the street, or drift down to the Ocean Isle Creamery for a sweet treat, while the pool at the hotel provided a refreshing break after all our adventures. The hotel offered a clean room with a great view and free breakfast which I loved, but some minor cleanliness issues in the bedding were disappointing.
