I had the most amazing Christmas getaway at this hidden gem! the staff was incredibly accommodating, even though we arrived late. They had everything ready for us and we didn't have to interact with anyone. the private room we stayed in was lovely, with a super comfortable bed. the best part was the private deck that came with the suite. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of this place, making it the perfect escape. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding nature.

One small disappointment was that they had fireplaces in the hostel, but we couldn't use them due to insurance reasons. It would have been nice to cozy up by the fireplace during Christmas time.

We loved the fact that there were quiet hours from 10pm to 7am, which ensured a peaceful night's sleep. the bathrooms and showers were well-maintained, and the kitchens were fully equipped with everything we needed. the atmosphere was great, with friendly and considerate guests, especially the hikers we met. Plus, the rates didn't increase during the NH Highland Games, which was a relief.

I had such a great stay at this hostel! The value for money was excellent, and my room was comfy and spacious. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed and just minutes away from amazing hiking trails. The staff was super friendly and helpful, giving me great recommendations and making me feel at home.

The morning meal could be improved with more variety in the breakfast options.

The cots were comfy and stable, ensuring a restful sleep. The towels and linens were clean, and the pillows were fluffy. The bathrooms and showers were kept spotless. The kitchen was well-equipped with coffee makers, dishwashers, ovens, and microwaves. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, providing great tips for hikes and things to do in the area.

The hostel was conveniently located in close proximity to a variety of amenities such as supermarkets, restaurants, and shops. This made it easy to access everything I needed during my stay. Additionally, the hostel was just minutes away from a beautiful state park and offered numerous hiking opportunities in the surrounding White Mountains. It was the perfect base for exploring the outdoors.

One downside of the hostel was the lack of soundproofing in the rooms. the thin doors and walls meant that noise from the common areas could be heard, which was disruptive when trying to sleep at night.

The location is perfect, close to supermarkets, restaurants, and the beautiful Franconia Notch state park. The Kinsman dorm room was spacious and well-maintained, with fans and an A/C unit for the hot summer months. The common areas and bathrooms were spotless, and the fully stocked kitchen was a bonus. The hostel has a low-key and friendly vibe, perfect for mingling with fellow travelers. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to offer advice on hiking trails and things to do in the area. a fantastic experience!

We stumbled across this hostel by chance and had a fantastic stay. The owners and staff were super awesome, and the other guests were great people as well. The place had a quintessential quaint New England look and feel, and it was super cozy. The hostel offered great facilities, including pancake batter for breakfast, and everything was clean and comfortable. The location was extremely convenient for outdoor activities, with easy access to hiking and other outdoor pursuits. Additionally, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, providing helpful information about the area.

Great location near supermarkets, restaurants, and shops. Close to Franconia Notch state park for hiking opportunities. the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Rooms and common areas were clean and well-maintained. Free padlocks for lockers. Definitely coming back!

I got great value for my money at The Notch hostel. The room was cozy and the location was perfect, with easy access to the supermarket, restaurants, and Franconia Notch state park. The staff treated me like family and had excellent hiking tips for me.

The lockers were huge and provided ample storage space. the hostel had excellent facilities and a great ratio of quality to price.

The bunk rooms were comfortable. Plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen will be key for future trips. Very close to Woodstock and Lincoln. There are plenty of supplies for those of you that may forget snacks or other incidentals.

We loved our stay at The Notch Hostel! Everything we needed was provided for us without ever having to see or talk to anyone. The private room was really nice with a super comfortable bed. The staff was very accommodating to my dog and the common areas were very comfortable and homey. We also appreciated the complimentary coffee and pancake mix, as well as the well-equipped kitchen. The Notch Hostel had everything we needed and more!
