During my transit in Santa Barbara, I found the convenience of The Presidio's location to be a major plus. Situated only 3.3 km from Santa Barbara Amtrak, the hotel provided easy access for my travel needs. the hotel's proximity to Santa Barbara, just 20 km away, made it a convenient choice for a brief stay.

While staying at The Presidio, I did encounter minor inconveniences that detracted from the overall experience. The maintenance and upkeep of the rooms left something to be desired, with issues such as torn drapes and worn-out furniture affecting the aesthetic appeal.

My go-to place! Staff guided me here first time. Great for my business trips. Wi-Fi, on-site car park, flat-screen TV, electric kettle, hiking, cycling. No pets/smoking. Has all I need in a cozy space.

The second floor had a spacious big room with high ceilings, a comfortable bed, and heating. Plus, the complimentary bikes were a great perk.

Felt very at home, nothing to complain about.

At my go-to spot, they guided me when I got lost. I'm always content. Wi-Fi, parking, TV, kettle, hiking, cycling. It suits me, with the city vibes I crave.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown and directly on the main street at traffic lights where cars have to go uphill. The spacious rooms and clean bathrooms are well-maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing complimentary coffee, tea, and lemon water. The raised patio seating area offers a great spot for enjoying sunny coffee time. Free bikes are available for exploring the area.

The WiFi could be faster.

We loved the convenient location, just a short walk to bars, restaurants, and the beach. The room was comfortable with great air con and a spacious bathroom. The rooftop deck was perfect for relaxing and enjoying a drink. Free bike rentals were a nice touch.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.

The decoration of the room was delightful, bringing a sense of warmth and charm. The little balcony was ideal for watching the sunset and enjoying a quiet moment. The motel's location on State St made it easy to access the wonderful boutiques and restaurants, perfect for seniors wanting to explore without too much hassle.

I would ask for a better vacation experience for senior people by having the staff pay more attention to the small details that would make our stay even more comfortable.

I recently stayed at The Presidio in Santa Barbara for a weekend getaway. The location was perfect - within walking distance of bars, restaurants, and the beach. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and great water pressure in the shower. The hotel also had a rooftop deck and complimentary bike rentals, adding to the overall experience. I especially want to mention the exceptional service provided by the man at the check-in desk. Kudos to him!

The coffee provided at the office was a nice way to start the day. the location was great for walking to nearby parks and restaurants. the hotel's retro design and key system added character to the stay.

The bathroom mirror was too low for tall guests and the shower lacked a place to store toiletries. maids knocked early on Sunday.

We enjoyed having lunch and drinks on the sun deck in the afternoon. The hotel provided free coffee, tea, and bikes for us to use all day. The location was perfect, as the hotel was very close to shops and restaurants. It was also within walking distance of the beach and the Funk Zone, or we could easily use the bikes or shuttle.
