Traveling for leisure, my short stay at Sailmaker's House was delightful. the central location was ideal, close to eateries and landmarks. the charming building was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a peaceful experience. the hostess was welcoming and provided clear explanations. the decor was tasteful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Overall, a highly recommended stay in Portsmouth.

The hotel had a great location, close to the downtown area with lots of shops and restaurants. The amenities were surprisingly high-end, including real wine glasses, plush towels, and a Keurig coffee machine in the foyer. Checking in with keypads was easy and the staff was very understanding of our late check-out request.

The limited parking space was inconvenient, with only a few spots available and guests having to park in a municipal lot a few blocks away.

The rooms at this cozy vintage inn were so comfortable and welcoming. I loved the upgrade we received upon arrival and the beautiful decor throughout. The location was perfect and within walking distance of everything. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

The hotel is in a great location! You're within walking distance of everything downtown which is super convenient. The rooms are also nicely decorated with comfortable beds, and some even have a HUGE Cal King bed. Plus, the prices are really good for this kind of place.

Found a great place! the newly renovated and beautiful house is pure delight. the check-in was smooth and hassle-free. the location was very convenient, with easy access to the downtown area. Free parking was an added bonus. the room upgrade was the cherry on top with a very comfy and cozy bed to rest after a long day of work. Coffee and snacks were available in the common area, and the toiletries were lovely. the staff was always available by phone, and Todd was super friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The steps to the room on the second floor were quite steep and required some caution while using them. there was no breakfast included, but they have tea and coffee available, and the staff had suggestions for nearby cafes.
