The motel's location was incredibly convenient, allowing us to easily walk to all the activities and attractions in the area. The downtown area was just a short distance away, providing us with plenty of options for dining and shopping. The room itself was clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and good pillows. The staff was friendly and attentive, always available to assist us when needed. the shower head issue we encountered was promptly addressed by the staff.

The room was on the smaller side, making it feel a bit cramped for our family of four.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Ship Motel recently and I must say, the location was absolutely perfect! Being just a block away from Main Street, I was able to easily explore the town and enjoy its charm. The area was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. The proximity to the dock area was a bonus, as I could easily walk and discover various restaurants and shops along the way. Although the motel didn't offer breakfast, I found a fantastic spot that served Fisherman's Deep Fried French Toast - a unique and delicious treat. And let's not forget the breathtaking view of the boats on the St. Lawrence River, which was just a short walk away.

Despite being an older, no-frills motel, we found it to be a great option compared to the more expensive hotels and resorts in the area. overall I would definitely recommend this hotel for its convenience and affordability for boat tour travelers.

As a solo traveler, I loved that The Ship Motel was in the heart of Alexandria Bay, with all amenities and activities within walking distance. The clean and comfortable room had a small fridge, a cozy chair, and a table with chairs. The bathroom had a bathtub with a shower head, and clean towels and washcloths were provided daily. The friendly staff went above and beyond, carrying our bags and accommodating our requests. The location was perfect for boat tours on the St. Lawrence, with the dock and ticket office just a short walk away.

The room itself was very nice and clean, with comfortable bedding and sufficient amenities. it was a great value for the price.

While the motel had Wi-Fi, the signal was weak and only worked well near the office. In the room, the Wi-Fi was spotty at best.
