I recently had a city break in a cozy and beautiful hotel right in downtown Charleston. The location was fantastic, with tons of restaurants within walking distance. The room was spacious and well equipped, with a Nespresso coffee maker that I loved. The bathroom was also great, with a beautiful dual vanity and a spacious stand-in shower. One of the best aspects was the breakfast, which was served to me in my room every morning at the time I indicated the previous night. The herb and cheese biscuits were absolutely delicious. the staff was very courteous and helpful, with a particular shout-out to David, one of the butlers, for making my stay comfortable.

One aspect that I didn't enjoy was the lack of a restaurant on-site. Although the hotel bar was great, having a restaurant would have been a convenient option.

The Spectator Hotel in Charleston exceeded expectations with its modern boutique charm, excellent location, and amazing service. The staff, especially Jared and Chuck, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was impeccably clean and cozy, and the complimentary treats were a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious and well-prepared. The Spectator made us feel warm and welcome, even in a difficult situation.

We had a fantastic Easter weekend at this hotel! The best part was the exceptional service from the staff. They were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We also loved the location of the hotel, as it was centrally located and convenient to all the attractions. Another advantage was the delicious breakfast that was brought to our room every morning. It was a great way to start our day!

The only downside was that our room had a view of a building being torn down next door. However, this didn't really disrupt our stay since the construction work only started after we were already up and about, and it was done by the time we returned in the afternoon.

We spent Christmas at this hotel and there were a few things we liked. the location was perfect, close to the market and within walking distance of all the main attractions. Secondly, the staff at the front desk and the bartenders were friendly and provided great service. We also enjoyed the daily happy hour at the bar with a welcome cocktail.

There were a few things we didn't like. Also, the breakfast options were limited and didn't feel special.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location was amazing for exploring the city’s historic district. The staff was accommodating and friendly, offering excellent service throughout my stay. The room was spacious and the bedding was luxurious. The breakfast provided was a great start to each day and the little chocolate cups with creamy drinks were a delightful touch.

The check-in process was not smooth and we had to wait for our room to be ready, which was frustrating after a long journey. This was compounded by the fact that the lobby area was crowded with other guests also waiting for their rooms.

The service was truly top-notch, and I felt pampered with all the included amenities. The bar area was inviting, and the drinks were delicious. The room was comfortable and impeccably clean. The breakfast served in-room was the perfect way to start the day. I will definitely choose to stay here again if I return to Charleston. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful experience.

The complimentary breakfast, delivered promptly and with a smile, was a delightful start to our day. The checkout process was seamless and efficient, with our car waiting for us as requested. the service and staff at Spectator surpassed our expectations and made our stay truly memorable.

The Spectator Hotel is worth every penny! The room was spacious and elegant, with a comfortable king bed and all the amenities you could need. The staff treated me like royalty, offering me a welcome cocktail and providing excellent service throughout my stay. The location was perfect, within walking distance of great restaurants, art galleries, and tours.

The breakfast selection could be improved by having a dedicated restaurant area instead of delivering it to the room.

Recently stayed at The Spectator hotel for my daughter's 21st birthday celebration. The staff went above and beyond to make her feel special, with champagne and a personalized welcome in the room. They even provided custom postcards with local activity suggestions. The rooms were beautifully furnished and impeccably clean. The location was perfect, within walking distance to King Street, the market, and great restaurants. The butler service was attentive and the complimentary cocktail on arrival was a lovely touch. Wonderful breakfast delivered to the room and a stocked mini fridge made for a fantastic stay.
