I had a wonderful stay at Sylvan Inn! The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated, with a fascinating history displayed through vintage photographs and antiques. The breakfast served both days was absolutely amazing. The location was convenient, with plenty of parking space available. I highly recommend this gem of a B&B!

Our weekend stay was fantastic! The inn was conveniently located near shops and restaurants, making it easy for us to explore the area. The room we stayed in was spacious and had a large bed, perfect for a comfortable night's sleep. We also loved the fact that the room had a private bathroom. One of the highlights of our stay was sitting out on the private balcony, enjoying the peaceful surroundings while sipping on some local wine.

While the inn had a charming and quaint character, we did notice that some of the interior finishes were in need of refreshing. The peeling wallpaper and hard-water stained bathtub and shower curtain could use some attention to enhance the overall experience.

Conveniently located, perfect for exploring the area on foot. Breakfast on the porch was enjoyable. Comfortable room with pleasant fragrance, fluffy towels and enough hot water. Friendly and professional staff maintained the cleanliness of the property. The communal breakfast table united guests who shared delicious gluten-free pancakes with fresh fruit and tasty coffee.

As longer term business travelers, we appreciated the fantastic innkeepers who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast food prepared by Jan was absolutely delicious, and we even got the recipe for her amazing blueberry pancakes. The rooms were cute and individually decorated, and the location was great, close to Sleeping Bear and restaurants. The homey atmosphere made us feel right at home, and we were impressed by the attention to detail, such as braille descriptors on the toiletry supplies. we had a wonderful experience and plan to return.
