Best aspects of this hotel were the lovely location near the water and the charming town nearby. the hotel grounds were well-maintained and the staff was friendly. One of the highlights was the delicious food offered at the restaurant. the rooms were comfortable and spacious, providing a relaxing atmosphere for our stay. Additionally, the nearby vineyards, farmers markets, and antique shops added to the appeal of the location.

Worst aspects of this hotel were the dated facilities and the lack of attention to certain areas. Our room had several problems and we even considered moving, but the manager did not respond to our requests.

The views from the river-facing rooms were outstanding. The non-balcony option was a great choice and we were extremely happy with it. The lobby's large room was beautiful and a perfect place to relax with friends. The room's Keurig coffee was above standard and had an excellent selection of coffees and teas. Irvington, the town where the property is located, is lovely and has some great restaurants and stores. The on-site activities and dining options were abundant, and we especially enjoyed the gorgeous patio and the fantastic service provided by Mark. Making our own s'mores after dinner was a fun touch. The whole experience felt like a little slice of heaven compared to busy city life. We wish we could have stayed longer. The food at the dining room was incredible.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The location has seen better days, but the surrounding neighborhoods are stunning. I really enjoyed riding the bikes into town and exploring the cute restaurants and stores nearby. The staff here was the most hospitable I have ever encountered. They were very personable and beyond friendly, making sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. The rooms were immaculate and had all the amenities I could ask for, including a mini-bar and a sitting area. The outdoor pool was a great place to relax and soak up the sun, and the spa and wellness center offered a variety of services to enhance my relaxation. I had a fantastic experience here!

The service at this hotel was outstanding. the staff were helpful and pleasant, making our stay more enjoyable. Additionally, the recent renovations made the hotel look absolutely gorgeous. Everything was brand new and the landscape was beautiful. the proximity to the local downtown area was also a major advantage.

There were a few negative aspects to our stay. the room we stayed in was noisy, with a constant thrumming noise and a loud and uncontrollable air conditioner.

From the delicious bread to the perfectly cooked filet and salmon, everything was perfection. the wine recommendations from the sommelier were spot on and not too pricey. the hotel also offers beautiful waterfront views and a peaceful beach, perfect for relaxing. Plus, the staff provided excellent service and recommendations throughout our stay.

There are no major negatives to mention about this hotel. However, some may find the decor to be a bit outdated if they're looking for a more modern and flashy atmosphere.
