Spacious, clean room with a lovely balcony—definitely a highlight. The staff were genuinely friendly, making our arrival pleasant. The pool was surprisingly deep and nice for a dip. Waking up to a loud beeping from the desk lamp was less than ideal, and the bright bathroom mirror light could use a dimmer. I appreciated the location, close to restaurants and the bluffs. Parking was initially tricky on a busy Saturday night, but overall, it was a memorable stay with some cool modern features. I can see myself returning soon!

The room was spacious and modern, equipped with a wine fridge that worked perfectly. The tiled floors felt clean, but the office chair wheels above were disruptive at night. The bed was comfortable, yet the ceiling lights were too bright and hard to control from the side. A pleasant balcony, ideal for dinner, was overshadowed by a lack of a full-length mirror and other basic kitchenware. Storage was ample, but the bathroom lacked counter space. The shower offered only temperature control, not flow, which wasted water. The view from the ground floor was disappointing, facing a service area.

The noise between rooms was unbearable; I could hear every conversation like they were right next to me. It ruined my sleep. Plus, the lighting was blinding with no dimming option, making it feel like a headache factory.

The hotel is just a few blocks from the ocean, making it super easy to stroll to Marine Street Beach or La Jolla Cove, and I loved that there were several local restaurants and coffee shops, including a delicious Italian place, all within a short walk; plus, a Starbucks was just around the corner, which was a bonus for my morning coffee fix. The room was modern and clean, with a comfy bed and a nice balcony to relax on after a day of exploring, but it could use better lighting options for a more cozy vibe.

LOVED the spacious room by the pool. The breakfast at the lil surf shop was a hit! Definitely going back. The room looked better in photos though.
