West Winds Motel & Cottages offers a nice relaxing atmosphere with a great view of the lake. the swimming pool and campfire add to the charm of the place. the rooms are clean, and it is run by a nice family.

We had a comfortable stay at a charming motel in the 1000 Islands area. Loved the new and cozy beds, along with the refreshing cross breeze from the screens in the rooms. The friendly staff went above and beyond, even assisting with printing and faxing needs. The pool and nightly fire added a touch of luxury to our camping-style trip. The location was great, with easy access to downtown and beautiful river views.

The shower was quite small and could be inconvenient for taller individuals. Additionally, it would have been nice to have a freezer in the mini fridge.

The staff, especially Steve, were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for dining and activities in the area. The location was convenient, just a short drive from downtown, and we loved being able to bring our dogs along for the trip.

The only thing that could have made our stay even better was having a wider breakfast menu. Having more options to choose from in the morning would have been a nice addition.
