The extensive floral display throughout the hotel, including the lobby filled with beautiful fresh Ecuadorian roses, adds a touch of elegance. Additionally, the ease with which they respond to requests for changes to floral arrangements is impressive. The complimentary afternoon tea with bountiful savoury and sweet pastries is a delightful treat. The hotel's convenient location within the Old Town allows for easy exploration of the area's exciting options.

The dining room had a welcoming decor that made us feel warm and at home. The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area, offering great recommendations. The location was perfect, right on the edge of Old Town and just a few blocks from all the sights and sounds of this unique area. Even when I got sick on our last day, they allowed us to keep our room until our departure time at no extra charge.

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the historic center, surrounded by interesting shops and restaurants. the rooftop terrace offers amazing views of the nearby square. the rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms.

Some rooms may not have the best views, and there were a few minor issues with the amenities, such as incorrect room type and temperature control. the ongoing construction in the nearby square may affect the overall atmosphere of the location.

We stayed at Casa Gangotena for my husband's 60th birthday celebration and it was truly amazing! The room was gorgeous with a stunning view, the staff was exceptional, and the restaurant served delicious food. They even surprised my husband with drinks and cake! The hotel's location was perfect, allowing us to walk everywhere. Thank you Casa Gangotena for making our stay so memorable!
