West Winds Motel & Cottages offers a nice relaxing atmosphere with a great view of the lake. the swimming pool and campfire add to the charm of the place. the rooms are clean, and it is run by a nice family.

Room cleaning could improve. No in-room coffee maker.

We had a comfortable stay at a charming motel in the 1000 Islands area. Loved the new and cozy beds, along with the refreshing cross breeze from the screens in the rooms. The friendly staff went above and beyond, even assisting with printing and faxing needs. The pool and nightly fire added a touch of luxury to our camping-style trip. The location was great, with easy access to downtown and beautiful river views.

The shower was quite small and could be inconvenient for taller individuals. Additionally, it would have been nice to have a freezer in the mini fridge.

I recently stayed at this motel for a short trip and had a fantastic experience. The room was small but clean and had all the amenities listed. The location was convenient to the Village for great food, shopping, and sights. The outdoor area had tables and a nice patio for viewing the sunset and waterfront. The swimming pool was a bonus, and we loved the campfire for visiting and roasting s'mores. a great value for the price and we plan on returning for a longer stay.

Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

We had a fantastic stay at the West Winds Motel & Cottages! The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The view of the river from the property was absolutely breathtaking. The outdoor pool was pristine and the fire pit provided a cozy spot to unwind and enjoy the stunning sunsets. The staff, especially Steve, were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for dining and activities in the area. The location was convenient, just a short drive from downtown, and we loved being able to bring our dogs along for the trip.

The only thing that could have made our stay even better was having a wider breakfast menu. Having more options to choose from in the morning would have been a nice addition.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we loved the little details like the night light in each room. The location was perfect, with beautiful views of the river and easy access to boat slips. The campfire each night was a lovely touch, and we enjoyed chatting with the other guests. a great experience!

While we had a wonderful stay, there were a couple of minor downsides. The bed and bathroom amenities were on the cheap side, but considering the price point, it was understandable.

The cottages were clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owner, Jolene, was friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect, with beautiful sunrises and sunsets and easy access to nearby attractions. We enjoyed the pool, gas grills, and nightly campfires. we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this place to others.

We had a fantastic time at this hidden gem by the river! The well-kept cottages and motel rooms were cozy and comfortable. The beautiful pool, fire pit, and pavilion were perfect for relaxation. The BBQ area with gas grills made cooking a breeze. The friendly and helpful owners made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this place for a family-friendly vacation.
