Best aspects of our xmas stay included the friendly owners who provided us with a warm welcome. They even gave us a tour of the place, which was a unique experience. the location was perfect, with many sites within walking distance. Plus, they offered free bike rentals, making it easy to explore the surrounding area.

Worst aspects of our stay were the limited breakfast options, which could have been more diverse. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was quite slow, which was a bit frustrating when we wanted to quickly access information or share our holiday photos.

The location of this inn is perfect for exploring all the historic sites in the area. It is conveniently close to the LDS Temple, local restaurants, and shops. You can easily walk to many of the sites in the historic district. The inn is situated down the hill in what's known as the "flats," where all the Old Nauvoo historic sites are located. The rooms are comfortable, and the hosts are friendly and welcoming. They provide a delicious continental breakfast each morning, and you can even take a tour of the wine cellar.

The innkeeper, Shane, gave a fascinating presentation that truly brought the history of the home to life. I also appreciated the optional tour of the entire premise, where I learned so much about the area and the inn itself. The shared living room on the first floor was beautifully decorated and provided a cozy space to relax. The complimentary bicycles were a fantastic addition, allowing me to explore Nauvoo at my own pace. The price was very reasonable considering all the amenities and historical significance of the inn. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay.
