the breakfast offered was plentiful and had a wide variety of options. the hotel is conveniently located next to the visitor center for Colonial Williamsburg, making it easy to explore the area. the room was comfortable, despite being a bit dated. the staff made up for it with their amazing service. Every single person I interacted with was super friendly and helpful. When I had to make a change to my reservation regarding bringing my dog, they accommodated my request and even provided a dog-friendly room.

The breakfast at Woodlands Hotel - A Colonial used to be amazing with hot options and a make-your-own waffle station. Although they have made some changes and now charge extra for the hot offerings, the hotel still offers a great variety of hot and cold options for breakfast. The kids loved making their own waffles. The hotel also has a beautiful pool area with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. The location is perfect, within walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg and there is a shuttle to Busch Gardens and Water Country. I highly recommend this hotel for a family-friendly stay.

What a great thanksgiving experience! Loved the warm welcome from the front desk staff and cheerful housekeeping and breakfast attendants. the complementary breakfast had a good variety of items and the discounted tickets to the nearby attraction were a nice bonus. the location was perfect with easy access to the shuttle and walking distance to everything.

The beds were on the small side and the room was a little dated, but still comfortable. the furniture could use updating and the TV was a bit temperamental.
