We had a great time at this hotel on top of a hill in Texan Hill Country. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent. We appreciated having access to laundry on-site. The room amenities were excellent, including the heating, air conditioning, and tea and coffee facilities. The outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi were fantastic, and we enjoyed using the barbeque grills and sun terrace during our stay.

There are plenty of activities to enjoy nearby, including hiking on the scenic trails and picnicking in the well-manicured grounds. Guests can also easily access the town of Hunt, where they can indulge in delicious Mexican cuisine at Jalisco's Tacqueria. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with all the necessary supplies and modern electronics. Additionally, guests can relax and take in the breathtaking views from the various ponds located on the property.

The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Hill Country region. We were close to Fredericksburg, which had plenty of shops, restaurants, and a fascinating WWII museum. the staff at check-in were friendly and provided us with helpful information about the area. Plus, there were plenty of grocery stores and markets nearby to stock up on provisions.

One negative aspect was the distance from our unit to the grilling stations. It was a bit inconvenient, especially if you wanted to barbecue regularly.

There were a few things that could be improved. the pans in the kitchen weren't the best quality, making it a bit difficult to cook.
