Great location with awesome diner

I really liked how clean everything was and how friendly the staff were. Checking in was a breeze, and having Black Bear Diner on-site is a major plus! They had live music on weekends and good drinks at the bar. Just had a bit of a bother with the TV only showing one infomercial channel.

As a bigger group of friends, we loved the close proximity to the historic downtown area with its capital buildings and restaurants. The casino provided entertainment with video poker and keno, and having a microwave and refrigerator in our room was a great convenience. The housekeeping staff kept everything pristine, and the front desk staff were professional and helpful. The bed was extra large and incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated the spaciousness of the room. The furniture and desk chair were comfortable, and the breakfast at the attached Black Bear Diner was delicious and complimentary.

We recently stayed in a hotel with convenient location in a non-smoking area. We enjoyed being able to dine outside and visit the popular nearby attractions. The Black Bear restaurant was a great spot for delicious food. The room was clean and tidy with excellent service from friendly staff. Breakfast was included and offered a variety of options to choose from.

The walls in the rooms were thin and allowed for noise from outside and other guests to be heard.

The value for money was excellent! The room was comfortable with a great bed, good shower pressure, and temperature. The location was convenient, and the staff was polite and helpful throughout our stay.

The smoky and stale smell in the downstairs casino was unpleasant. The designated area for pets to relieve themselves was poorly lit, dirty, and located across the street from the casino.

This hotel is a great value for money with affordable prices. Its location is just perfect, it is located within a mile of downtown Carson City shops & restaurants. The staff is friendly and rooms with AC units are equipped with all the basic amenities. Additionally, the extra large bed and balcony with great views make the stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast included is a nice touch.
