The Wyndham Gettysburg boasts exceptionally comfortable beds and a stunning atmosphere. The indoor pool was spacious and enjoyable for my kids. Despite a few service hiccups, such as a broken elevator and some rowdy guests, the pleasant setting made for a memorable experience.

The AC worked great, keeping the room cool despite the hotel's overall temperature being quite warm. I appreciated the nice walk-in shower, which added a touch of luxury. the noise from the hall was noticeable at times, slightly disturbing the peace. The location was convenient for exploring nearby attractions and shops. The carpeting in the hallways had seen better days, affecting the overall aesthetic. Staff members were kind, but some service could have been more attentive, particularly with room upkeep.

Loved the large windows in my king suite! The indoor heated pool was perfect for a relaxing dip. The garden area is a beautiful, serene escape right outside your door.

Perfectly situated for exploring Gettysburg's historic sites and charm

My stay was a delightful experience as we were just a short drive from the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center, which is only about 4.5 kilometers away, and we also enjoyed leisurely strolls to the Lincoln Statue at Wills House, around 3.5 kilometers from the hotel, while the beds were super comfy and the staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even better; it would have been nice to have more options for on-site dining but that didn't take away from the overall fabulous experience.

The beds and pillows were comfy, and the room size was just right for a romantic escape. We appreciated the pet-friendly policy for our walks around the property.

The coffee situation was a letdown—no complimentary lobby coffee, and the in-room coffee was undrinkable. The water pressure in the shower was poor, and our room lacked a decent view.

During our recent stay at the Wyndham in Gettysburg, we experienced a mix of pros and cons. The check-in process was quite chaotic, with long lines and only one person handling the check-ins, causing significant delays. once we got to our rooms, we were greeted by a musty smell and the remnants of a previous guest's stay. The carpet was dirty, and there were even signs of possible blood stains, which was quite unsettling. the staff we interacted with were accommodating and apologetic, helping us switch to a new room promptly. The second room was much better, although it still had a lingering musty odor. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, and the lack of a fridge was surprising, as it's a basic amenity in most hotels nowadays. We also encountered some issues with cleanliness, like finding sheets left on the floor instead of being properly delivered. The bathroom was not cleaned thoroughly, and the shower water pressure was poor. It was disappointing to see duct tape used in the hallways, a safety hazard that we tripped over twice. I did appreciate the convenient location of the hotel, close to the battlefields, and the themed lobby was a nice touch. these positives were overshadowed by the numerous issues we encountered during our stay. if I return to the Gettysburg area, I would opt to stay elsewhere to avoid similar disappointments.

Everything was exceptional.

Room 660 boasts large windows with a beautiful view, creating an inviting atmosphere. The king suite is spacious, complete with a larger-than-average refrigerator and a comfortable sofa bed. the bed was disappointingly hard and the pillows lacked adequate support. The bathroom featured a huge shower but was missing a door. Cleanliness and professionalism shone through the staff, with the restaurant providing excellent food and attentive service. the noise from the adjoining room was intrusive and the air conditioning was mediocre. Little things, like USB lamps and paper towels for pet messes, mattered. This could have been a perfect getaway but fell short of expectations. A few adjustments would elevate the experience significantly.

LOVED the spacious rooms, but breakfast was pricey. Staff was super friendly. The indoor pool was a bonus! Would choose it again. Rooms even better than in photos!

I loved exploring timeless architecture, especially with noisy partying neighbors right outside my room all night. Exciting elevator rides with close talkative friends maskless. Marvelous!

Couldn't hear the highway noise over the conventionist's chatter and 6th graders' celebrations. Hated seeing dogs at the lavish hotel.

the hotel was beautiful and super clean. loved the quiet vibe. breakfast was amazing! staff were all really sweet and helpful. the pool was a perfect temp after exploring all day. the room was cozy with A/C, a flat-screen TV, and all the toiletries you need. nice fitness center too!
