This hotel in the heart of the bustling market area exceeded my expectations in many ways. the staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, going out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. Secondly, the rooms were clean and cozy, with a small balcony offering a charming view of the surrounding neighborhood. Finally, the breakfast, served on the rooftop terrace, provided not only delicious options but also a beautiful view of the city. Truly a hidden gem!

We found the rooms quite outdated and unclean, and the bed and linens were not fresh at all. the bathroom definitely needed some repair, as the shower pressure was weak and the toilet water took forever to refresh.

The location of the hotel was excellent, being close to the cathedral where locals gathered on the 24th of December in festive Christmas attire. It was also conveniently situated near popular attractions such as the lake, beer corner, and other points of interest in the city. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. The service provided by the staff was friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. Additionally, the rooftop terrace offered a pleasant view of the surrounding area.

One negative aspect was the potential for noise, as mentioned in one of the reviews. Although the hotel was slightly removed from the main streets, there were still occasional noises from the city that could disturb light sleepers.

I recently stayed at Golden Moon, a fabulous hotel in Hanoi. My purpose of travel was to explore the city, and I had a wonderful time during my stay. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the old quarter and within walking distance to everything. The staff, especially Lily, were incredibly kind and helpful, organizing a perfect trip to Halong Bay for me. The rooms were comfortable, with a cozy bed and luxurious sheets. The shower was fantastic, and the breakfast served on the top level with big windows was a delight. a memorable experience and I will definitely return!
