Fabulous experience at Royal Holiday Hanoi Hotel! The staff were so polite and helpful, arranging activities at a slightly higher price. Loved the great location with a tiny view of the lake and oversized furniture that made it a fun challenge to move around.

Who needs a proper window or a clear view of the lake when you have old houses blocking it? Just added to the charm.

We recently stayed at a hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter, which was perfectly located close to Lake Hoan Kiem and the attractions of the old town. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a well-maintained bathroom. The staff provided excellent service, offering helpful suggestions on what to see and do in the city. The breakfast was hearty and a good way to start the day. We also appreciated the convenience of being able to order food deliveries. it was a great base for exploring the city.

The language barrier in the city was a letdown. Few signs had English translations and the locals rarely spoke it, requiring us to rely on translation apps.

Best trip ever! Amazing itinerary in Bai Tu Long bay, relaxing spa with wood oil, visit to Hoa Lu citadel, sampan boat in Tam Coc, cycling in Vietnam countryside. The hotel pickup at the airport was a nice touch.

I didn't like the fact that the hotel didn't have a private helipad, it's so inconvenient to land my helicopter.
