What an incredible experience at Nguyen Shack! We stayed for 5 days on our honeymoon and it was truly the highlight of our trip to Vietnam. The location in the natural park is stunning, away from the hustle and bustle of town. The bungalows offer beautiful views of the garden and lake, and the triangle glass windows make you feel like you're outside. The staff and owners are amazing - always smiling and ready to help. The food is fantastic, and there are plenty of animals around for entertainment. A pool overlooking the lake is an added bonus on hot days. We can't wait to come back!

We stayed at Nguyen Shack - Phong Nha Resort for a week while we explored the area and went caving. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, even upgrading us to a nicer room upon arrival. Our spacious and comfortable room overlooked a beautiful lake/field, where we could watch cows and buffalo wander by daily. It was such a peaceful and serene stay, providing the perfect place to relax and immerse ourselves in the local surroundings. The early check-in they provided off the night bus was a great convenience.

the location is a bit outside the main town, but the staff made it incredibly easy to get there with free bicycles, mopeds, or shuttles. the accommodation was spotless and the views were breathtaking. the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, even going so far as to book our onward train journey for us and provide recommendations for places to visit in Vietnam. the animals on the property were also a highlight, with friendly cats, dogs, and even miniature pigs. the food was delicious and affordable, and the overall experience was unforgettable. Highly recommended!

the staff at Nguyen Shack - Phong Nha were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. the resort itself is stunning, with beautiful wooden houses, a peaceful atmosphere, and a refreshing pool. the property is located in a peaceful area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still within easy reach by bike or the resort's van. I especially loved the views of the paddocks and lake. the free breakfast was delicious, and I appreciated the complimentary drinkable water and free bicycle hire. it was a relaxing and perfect place to stay.

During our stay at Nguyen Shack - Phong Nha, we were constantly surrounded by a lively and friendly staff. They had a great sense of humor and created a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. The facilities were comfortable and the vibes were always positive. The cute dogs and pig added entertainment to our experience. The standout part of our stay was the exceptional food. We didn't feel the need to eat anywhere else in Phong Nha as the coffee, cocktails, and food at the resort were the best we had throughout our whole Vietnam trip. We can't wait to come back and stay here again in the future.

I got great value for my money at Nguyen Shack - Phong Nha Resort. The room was fantastic with floor to ceiling windows and a spacious back deck. The location was beautiful and peaceful, and the staff treated me like a VIP.

Breakfast option could be improved with warmer showers.
