Highly recommend this motel. Exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Grounds are spotless with well-watered plants. Reception staff is pleasant and welcoming, even had a cute puppy! Check-in was efficient, addressing us by name and ensuring we had everything we needed. Room was well presented and clean with all the amenities. Extra touches like chocolate treats, real tea/coffee, and breakfast table setup made our stay welcoming. Comfortable bed, sofa, and good wifi. a great experience.

My recent stay at Colonial Motor Inn was an absolute delight. The room was incredibly clean and tidy, making me feel right at home. The bed was a little soft for my liking, but that's just a personal preference. The layout of the room was spacious, allowing me to move around freely without feeling cramped. The lounge was comfortable and perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Despite being located on a main road, the room was surprisingly quiet, with minimal outside noise. The staff were friendly and always up for a chat, making me feel like I had known them for ages. I also appreciated the ample parking spaces available. I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at Colonial Motor Inn.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and very spacious. We had plenty of room to spread out, and there was even a nice comfy sofa. Everything worked well, including the wifi, which was a great bonus. The hotel also provided the little extras that made our stay even better, like a teapot and leaf tea for all the tea lovers out there. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the hotel had easy parking right outside the rooms. The location was perfect for us, as it was away from the main shops but still close enough to conveniently access the local Thai restaurant and all the activities we had planned in the area, including Lakes Entrance.

Nothing, all was good.

We loved the cleanliness of the room, with a well-maintained carpet and nice cover on the bed. The towels were thick and fluffy, and we appreciated the numbered car parks for convenience. The bed was extremely comfy, with a variety of pillows to choose from. The water pressure was great, and there was plenty of hot water. The hotel's location was perfect for walking to nearby activities and attractions. The staff were helpful and provided a good breakfast selection.

Not one thing.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, just like at every other hotel we've stayed at during our driving trip through NSW and Victoria. We received excellent advice on driving and ferry options as we headed towards Torquay. the room was spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities provided. the hotel was conveniently located, within walking distance of the town center and various activities in Bairnsdale.

The only downside was that the hotel was a bit noisy due to traffic from the nearby highway. However, this was not a major issue and did not significantly affect our stay.

As travelers with a car, we loved the spacious and well-equipped rooms at this older style motel. The kitchenette and large bathroom were great features. The motel also had plenty of power and USB charging points, as well as storage space for our luggage. The eco-friendly outdoor areas were beautifully presented, and we even got to enjoy the company of little frogs after dark. The staff, especially Debbie, provided excellent country hospitality and the minibar offered decent wine, leaf tea, and ground coffee. this motel offered great value for money.

Felt totally relaxed, no reason to complain.

Our family suite at Colonial Motor Inn was perfect for our needs! It was spacious, very clean, and provided all the necessary amenities. The staff were super lovely and made our stay even more enjoyable. We were impressed with the friendly couple who run the motel and the comfortable bed in our room. The lounge area was a nice touch for relaxing and watching TV. The kitchen was well-equipped with a microwave and fridge, making our stay even more convenient. We had a pleasant experience and would definitely consider returning in the future.
