This place was such good value for money! The room was super clean and cozy, and the staff treated me like family. The location was convenient and easy to find.

Highly recommend this motel. Exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Grounds are spotless with well-watered plants. Reception staff is pleasant and welcoming, even had a cute puppy! Check-in was efficient, addressing us by name and ensuring we had everything we needed. Room was well presented and clean with all the amenities. Extra touches like chocolate treats, real tea/coffee, and breakfast table setup made our stay welcoming. Comfortable bed, sofa, and good wifi. a great experience.

The motel room was very comfortable and clean. The kitchenette alcove was a convenient addition and having access to reasonably priced alcohol was a bonus. The owners were pleasant and helpful, allowing us to store our bikes while our car was being repaired in Bairnsdale.

The laundry machines were located in a garden shed at the back of the motel, with no lighting. It was inconvenient to sort and transfer clothes in the cold and wet conditions.

I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at the Colonial Motor Inn. The room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I loved having a lounge area to relax and watch TV. The kitchen was well-equipped with a microwave and fridge. The couple running the motel were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely return in the future.

My recent stay at Colonial Motor Inn was an absolute delight. The room was incredibly clean and tidy, making me feel right at home. The bed was a little soft for my liking, but that's just a personal preference. The layout of the room was spacious, allowing me to move around freely without feeling cramped. The lounge was comfortable and perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Despite being located on a main road, the room was surprisingly quiet, with minimal outside noise. The staff were friendly and always up for a chat, making me feel like I had known them for ages. I also appreciated the ample parking spaces available. I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at Colonial Motor Inn.

Geweldige locatie in het centrum, dicht bij het stadspark. Je kunt gemakkelijk te voet naar veel bezienswaardigheden. Het ontbijt werd geserveerd op de 8e verdieping met een prachtig uitzicht over de stad. Het buitenzwembad op dezelfde verdieping biedt natuurlijk een adembenemend uitzicht.

Geen eigen parkeerplaatsen, maar een parkeergarage om de hoek met flinke korting. Helaas wel nog steeds €40 per dag.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and very spacious. We had plenty of room to spread out, and there was even a nice comfy sofa. Everything worked well, including the wifi, which was a great bonus. The hotel also provided the little extras that made our stay even better, like a teapot and leaf tea for all the tea lovers out there. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the hotel had easy parking right outside the rooms. The location was perfect for us, as it was away from the main shops but still close enough to conveniently access the local Thai restaurant and all the activities we had planned in the area, including Lakes Entrance.

We loved the cleanliness of the room, with a well-maintained carpet and nice cover on the bed. The towels were thick and fluffy, and we appreciated the numbered car parks for convenience. The bed was extremely comfy, with a variety of pillows to choose from. The water pressure was great, and there was plenty of hot water. The hotel's location was perfect for walking to nearby activities and attractions. The staff were helpful and provided a good breakfast selection.

The value for money at this motel was excellent, as the room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The location was convenient, within walking distance to a nice RSL for dinner. The staff treated us like old friends, with a warm welcome and friendly conversations.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, just like at every other hotel we've stayed at during our driving trip through NSW and Victoria. We received excellent advice on driving and ferry options as we headed towards Torquay. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities provided. The hotel was conveniently located, within walking distance of the town center and various activities in Bairnsdale.

The only downside was that the hotel was a bit noisy due to traffic from the nearby highway. However, this was not a major issue and did not significantly affect our stay.

As travelers with a car, we loved the spacious and well-equipped rooms at this older style motel. The kitchenette and large bathroom were great features. The motel also had plenty of power and USB charging points, as well as storage space for our luggage. The eco-friendly outdoor areas were beautifully presented, and we even got to enjoy the company of little frogs after dark. The staff, especially Debbie, provided excellent country hospitality and the minibar offered decent wine, leaf tea, and ground coffee. this motel offered great value for money.

The motel is a bit far to walk to the main center of town. I also didn't like that smoking was allowed outside the rooms, as the smell would waft into the room.
